Harden did hurt us in OT, but let's not forget, it took a collective CAREER night from jj redick, not to mention 22 3s on 60% shooting from the clippers to win along with 19(!) missed rocket free throws. If you told me that before the game I would have assumed it was a bona fide blowout. A lot of positives from this game, great plays by Bickerstaff, great composure from the team in the 4th. JB's rotations still make no sense as far as lawson is concerned. Tjones is only getting minutes (i hope) for trade value. Harrell needed way more time.

I never have, and never will be a tjones fan. I just, at this point, don't expect even mediocre play from him. As far i'm concerned, he's only playing over Harrell until he gets traded. I realize that doesn't absolve him of his crap play against the clips, but its pointless complaining about this guy, he's a walking trainwreck

they had their starter superstar powerforward out with injury and they had their starter star center just coming back sick from pneumonia and he wasn't 100%.

The Clippers without Griffin may have had a nice long streak but in that streak they beat only one good team. We are the second good team they beaten.

    What a pisser.........

We were the perennial laughing stock of the competition with our first round exits until last year and quite frankly, we got the Mavs which was basically a walk over.

Can we even call ourselves a good team? We're barely over .500. Basically we can say this Clippers streak is weak as hell.

Well, Harden got "plenty help" from his teammates tonight. He should return the favor by hustling on both ends.

He can re-abtain energy by passing more and not ISOing as much.

It's clear John Blair does NOT have Harden's respect. It's clear Harden has cancerous ways.

Harden can learn a few things from Thornton. Learning to run around screens and getting separation for quick hitting open 3s...seems like something he never does that all the best shooters are good at...including Reddick, Curry, Beal, Thompson, etc. Most of his 3s are predictable step up, slow winding, iso-shots. It seems like he was more of this type with OKC but he doesn't seem to have the motor for it anymore.

I hope this game has shown to Howard haters that HARDEN is the problem in this team and he should be the one traded!

Howard isn't dependable enough physically for his salary.

Rockets invested in 2 highly suspect stars. Both players' games have major holes and neither is a leader.

You need to check how many scrub players drop career high on Rockets this season. Harden was playing like he did not care at all. Can you believe we lose to the Griffin out Clippers with Howard 36pts,26rbs and Thornton 23pts on bench???

Jones has been beyond terrible this season. He had a good 3-game stretch: good vs Pacers, great @ Memphis, OK vs Twolves, then he went back to the old terrible himself.

If we didn't sit his @ss down in the 2nd half game would have been over. But you just know comes Wednesday, he will play again.

Do you notice Harden seldom pass the ball to Thornton? Harden sometimes acts like a kid. SMH.

Get Dwight the ball, that should be JB's message from now on. Surely it must be the way we play, even though we lost, we look much better attacking the rim in pick and rolls and not many centres can cover Dwight who i think might be finally healthy

amazingly had Jones not knocked that ball in the ring, Thornton's shot might have been a game winner

This is pretty much confirmed by Codman, that some players do not want to pass it to him because they know he will shoot it. Ironically, Thornton is much more than just a catch and shoot guy.
