Steph came back into the game with a possible concussion and kicked our ass.

Dwight does care and he's been a great leader.

Especially in Orlando when he took them to the Finals. Easily the 2nd best Orlando player in Orlando history next to Shaq.

One thing Yao had that these other guys didn't was loyalty .
based on his character and work ethic, I doubt any player would dedicate himself so much to his country and his team.

Yao would stay on the ship even if it was sinking.

tmac got owned by Matt Harpring

    http://www.deseretnews.com/article/...ays-he-just-plays-hard--not-dirty.html?pg=all

"I'm not gonna make it easy on T-Mac," he added with reference to McGrady, someone clearly frustrated during the series by aggressive defense from a combination of Harpring, Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver and Andrei Kirilenko. "I know he wants it easy, but this is the playoffs, and I'm gonna do my best to irritate him, and frustrate him, to get in front of him. I'm just gonna play tough defense like I know how to play."

    And okur.

I don't get this bull**** agenda to put down some rockets stars while propping up others. They all had their faults in the last 15 years.

I like all of them though. Francis. Yao. Mcgrady. Harden. Howard.

Losers like tinman should stop trying to divide fans.

I think Dwight cared more about his body, his muscles, his power game than about fundamentals.

He is just not fundamentally sound or he just isn't able to hit Free throws regularly, hit some jumpers, have some skills.

He wants to win for sure but he isn't exactly really high IQ and highly skilled right till now.

He cared about improving, that's why he trained with Hakeem.

Unfortunately, he couldn't dance like the Dream.

Sure. Yao had some flaws too, was not mobile enough, injury prone, gigantism, relatively narrow armspan and reach....

but he compensated with immense work ethic, work ethic, work ethic, Bball IQ and poise.
And he was only second to guys like Duncan in Basketball fundamentals

You could actually call him the Small Fundamental Giant

You don't have to be Dream.

Lebron, KG are enough to win ships these days.

    half a tier below

Dwight in his prime and a tad more skills, that guy is on par or might be better than Shaq.

Yeah I said it... sadly he never developed those skills well

LeBron is up there with Dream and Jordan.

LeBron training with Dream shows that he wanted to improve all facets of his games. Incredible athleticism.

They were great when they were

    under pressure

I think there's a bias towards players who aren't playing anymore because their entire career is taken into account vs a current player where people typically just considering the right here and right now. I wouldn't give either of them a significant edge in the leadership department over the other.

dude like the only rep you gave me in a long time and that was about Tmac but I got to say the same thing about Dwight.

All his accomplishments were things of his past and in Orlando.

This Houston Dwight is Kylo Ren and not Vader and surely not Palpatine (aka Sidious).

(Kyle Ren now - no clue if he obtains enlightenment and becomes elite)

Dwight was Obi Wan and Qui Gon Jin in Orlando but not here. Or Ip man.
