Ya know, I thought about this for a while... no one can question that he is one of the top 5 scorers in the league but at what cost? It's really hard to root for a guy that we're not even sure cares all that much when things don't go his way. A guy that refuses to spend energy on one side of the ball, wants to camp in the paint and let his team-mates switch on his man so he doesn't have to run and chase his man off screens. A guy that wants almost complete monopoly on how to run the offense, and rarely ever criticizes himself for his mistakes or poor play. I love the Houston Rockets so I don't know what the best option is at the moment but it's really hard to root for a guy like that for me personally.

It got old a long time ago watching this team make one defensive mistake after the other and we are close to mid season and it still hasn't changed.

Its not a secret that JJ Reddick is just a stand still jump shooter but we let him get wide open at the three point line over and over. You have got to make that guy put the ball on the floor and he is not going to beat anyone in the NBA off the dribble.

This team and there lack of giving a **** has already costs Kevin McHale his job and will probably be the reason Bickerstaff won't be the coach come next season. I would hope that at some point someone will realize this teams performance this year is on these players and not any coach or GM or anyone else. They need to look themselves in the mirror and start giving a **** on defense or this season will continue to be the waste it has been so far.

If he started with disciplined coach like Carlisle who ride Rondon's notorious stubborn a$$ like f, that would be a different story.

Saying Harden is not "engaged" reminds me of when Lebron got that label in the finals in 2011.

Its not that they arent engaged, its more they didnt know how to play off ball so when they werent envolved so they just stood in a corner looking disintrested.

Lebron eventually understood more how to play off and move more in Miami.

Harden going to have to have someone teach him that

4th quarter, we cut it down to 6, Harden back in, ball got sticky.

OT, no ball movement, Harden ISO after ISO. Ball got sticky.

I don't care how many points he scores for us (by using how many possessions), I am sure we score even more as a team without him (by using those possessions).

And that's not even with his defense considered. Countless points he has cost us with his no effort.

F off Harden. F off your way of playing basketball - save energy on defense and spend them in high energy-cost ISOs in offense to get beautiful stats.

I'm still amazed JR Smith and JJ Redick out scored James Harden in both the game he played against them.

Tired of watching Dwight give up 3s. I remember a time when he used to block those shots.

hmmm....how much would the Rockets have to pay you or me to chase the open guy we're supposed to be defending? The missed free throws...I'm not gonna even "Go there" as to why I think he was distracted tonight. Don't get me wrong I like Harden's talents offensively but all the other facets to the game...Reggie Miller made a great point tonight. He said Harden has to be called out because if the rest of the team is playing solid Defense and Harden is not then the rest of the Rockets will point at the double standard hypocrisy as use it as an excuse almost like built up resentment. I don't know about anyone else but I'm starting to see that resentment on the court in spurts.

This. If I am playing the Clipps without Blake then Jones, Harrell, Capela, and even KJ (when in the bonus) better get fouled out. The Clippers are nothing but shooters. They rely so much on flopping to get the call and the refs won't keep calling it. Body them up and get a hand up and they choke. The good teams figured out you can shut them down if you take away there 3 pt game and make Deandre shoot all the shots.
