They called the 20 second timeout that was going to be lost after halftime hit anyways. Might as well use it, or lose it. Guess Walton wanted to use it to setup their defense.
This game just shows how much higher level this Warrior team can play on...and there isnt a team in the NBA that can match this (not even the Spurs, they're core is too OLD). When they want to turn it up...they will. The only way to break this team is a devastating injury that would take out Curry and/or Green. This Golden State team is evolving into a team that may be on its way at building a dynasty...
It's bad that Harden was only one of backgrounds of Stephen Curry success. He is immature and wasting his talent. The worse part is Morey hired a bad coach.
Spurs are the only team that can knock out the Warriors in a series. Pops will have something up his sleeves(turn off the AC again, JK JK) But seriously, imo this year's San Antonio team is their best, including their championship years.
Damn Curry almost got his knee destroyed on that play if he didn't lift his foot. EDIT: JR Smith flagrant 2? Wtf? He just got ejected.
most likely to not have the game get out of control and have more chippyness going on with the impeding blowout
Part of this call I believe has to do with the Finals last year. JR did the same thing against Green. I'm sure the Warriors made sure the refs knew and were watching for it.
Talent? Love and Irving are excellent offensive players but both are horrible defensive players. Plus their offensive games are actually neutralized by Lebron who domninate the ball.
So Curry will get MVP + Score Title + Championship this year? GAWD... Last year I was still complaining Harden was too bad luck because he has too many 2nd places in all kinds of standings. But now it seems nothing to do with luck.
