Noah may have really messed his shoulder up tonight, so hopefully won't hear any more about him to the Rockets.
Did they take down the land of bigs banner on the parking garage?? That would be really interesting....
Money needs to liquor up Uriji and get picks of him in bed with animals and force this deal through. TJones for a first would be unreal. TJ is actually playing at a high level when he comes off the bench.
Just heard Pelicans are looking to trade Eric Gordon and Alonzo Gee for Rudy Gay. I wonder if the Rockets could hop in this trade and get Ryan Anderson while sending Corey Brewer to the Pelicans and T-Jones to the Kings.
3 way trade Houston, Phoenix and Detroit. Houston: B. Jennings (Back up PG/Second ball handler/Scorer) Markieff Morris (Scoring PF with 3pt range) Alex Len (3rd Center that can score/and make free throws) R. Bullock (3 and D SF) Phoenix: Ty Lawson (PG for rental/ Expiring contract) T. Jones (PF replacement) Pistons: Corey Brewer (SG/SF Bench spark and vet) D. Motiejunas (PF to invest in/Low Post scorer/ can spread the floor) http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=z7gyz8h
If we're going all in...what about trading Capela? The way we're going, we're going to have a decision to make..do we ride with Harden and get him the proper help or do we trade him and start over? I don't think anyone truly believes this is a championship team anymore, even if they improve. Capela is our ticket to getting what we need. TJ and DMo's value are down. We can include them, but likely can't build a trade a round them anymore. Capela is only 21...he's got great potential, but not exactly superstar potential. He still needs time to grow, which doesn't really go with our current window. It does go with Orlando's, who's core is about 20-23 yrs of age. At this rate, they'll just waste Vucevic's prime. We could also use Frye, Smith, or Nicholson from them, who are some of their older players. What kind of package would work?
Id rather get Eric Gordon if possible. And send Jones and Brewer to the Kings. The Pelicans don't want to trade Anderson at all. They turned down Gay for Anderson.
I think they do want to trade him. But they want something out of him. But the fact that they won't trade him for Rudy Gay should say a lot about their asking price..
No matter what you do, you don't get rid of Harden unless its for the 1st pick in the draft. You have no clue how hard talent like his to be found in this league. We don't need to get rid of him, we need to hire a coach that'll put him in his damn place like Thibs did during team USA
I didn't say we needed to trade him. That's just an option we'd face, but as I went on to say, I'd rather try to find the right help. With less to do.offensively, Harden can finally stop using that as an excuse and play better defensively.
I wonder what the Noah injury will do to Chicago's plans. It looks their idea to trade one big for a wing is now out of the window. Dunleavy possibly may not play at all this year. I think it's more possible to salary dump to save money than to trade one good big. But who knows with GarPax.
At this point I'd trade anybody outside the big 2 for Ryan Anderson. He played great with Dwight. Lots of space in the lane for Harden to operate in.
