So we are going to go so deep into macs career to defend a guy who CLEARLY gives no fs about the team?

Mac had embarrasing games for Houston? I think Harden just this year has more.

Since you guys like talking so much about facts and the present.....tell me more about how amazing Harden is. Its comical almost that this Harden situation is becoming like Macs. A player shows glimpses of mvp and then cant reproduce the same results again, whats more embarrasing is that nothing is holding him back...

Give me T-Mac. Gave effort every single game, unlike Harden.

LOL @ T-mac giving it his all every game. Delusional fans. As much as I hate Harden, T-Mac was just as frustrating and for the exact same reasons. The red flag early on when he came here was too much similarities to T-mac and it has come true: lazy, immature, throwing team mates under the bus, not taking responsibility, all about stats, whining to the media and not backing it up etc.

If both had equal failures as far as success and you go off of individual effort mcgrady wins by a mile. Harden made it clear he is in it for the money and women. He got what he wanted so now its a 9-5.

If the wcf is your * to notch harden over mac i suggest you rewatch the playoffs to see who really turned it around for us.

How many turnovers did harden have in game 5 wcf?

t-mac had injuries which took a toll on his body. Harden does not have that excuse. He's healthy and in his prime.

Neither guy is a natural leader, but McGrady actually cared about winning. He started tanking in the end when injuries took a toll on him. Harden made it clear in last year's playoffs that he's all about partying first and winning second.

I understand if Harden kept losing in the first round, but when you win a playoff series and play more than 20 playoff games, you get the passed tmac card.

    BS

tmac often took games and plays off

not to mention, he never gave any effort into improving his game in the offseason, he was fully satisfied with his immense natural abilities, he never worked for anything more than that.

To anyone who places Mcgrady's first round failures as a point against him and a Harden's WCF appearance as a point for Harden, ask this to yourself honestly as you can.

Did Harden play better in his first round series than Mcgrady did his? Is it a possibility their respective teamates had a large factor?

Did HE win or his team win? Did Harden play better than Mcgrady in their respective first rounds? Answer the question honestly.

I care about team results and dependability. Not if tmac scored more than harden in the small sample size of games.

Hakeem played over 100 playoff games.
The standard we should compare harden to.

Never tmac. Keep your standards high.

So I guess you haven't turn on Harden like you did Mac yet huh. No matter how Harden has numerously quit and how he consistently doesn't give effort on defense.

And stop telling people how they should view players and who they can compare them to. That's your preference Tin. So you judge how you want and let others view and judge how they see fit.

I like my highest paid superstar to play more than 20 playoff games in his rockets career.

James Harden is a fraud. Ty Lawson would be a major contibutor to this team if it wasn't for James Harden. As far as he is concerned I do not give him credit for getting us past the first round. Every series I have seen him in he was shut down. Except the Golden State series, but he was a volume shooter that series. He was shut down by Aminu in the first round and I will not let any Stat guy tell me his numbers from the game because it was padded by free throws and game in hand buckets. That's why Mark Cuban tipped his hat to us and said we have more than just Harden. If we didn't have Smith, Brewer, and Howard we lose that series. Same with the Clippers series.
