that's what some are thinking. while he could've have been traded at any time, i don't think he will be traded until the deadline. i'm pretty sure they'd like to wait for dmo to be able to play more minutes at a higher level before dumping jones. also, waiting until the deadline gives us more time to benefit from his play. whatever we trade him for (probably another rookie contract or a pick) will lead to less on court production for the remainder of our games.

Does it matter if you are talented if you are not very good and never really have been? He takes a lot of shots and scores a mediocre amount of points. He doesn't defend, he doesn't pass, he cannot hit 3's and he doesn't go to the line. He has improved his rebounding over the years but that is about it.
