D-Mo and Jones are both restricted free agents this Summer. Cap space this Summer really shouldn't be an issue as it relates to those two. Unless someone comes in on day 1 with a max offer to either or both that the player can't refuse (which might limit them to sign "the big fish" or whatever first) they can resign one or both guys above the cap.

If Morey wants to seriously create cap this Summer though, you'll probably see him try to move Brewer any way he can. If you move Brewer (not nothing back) and waive Lawson this Summer, you can resign Howard first, sit on D-Mo/Jones' cap hold, sign a player at close to if not max dollars, then resign those other two guys over the cap afterwards.

This has been such a wasted year for D-Mo. When healthy, he is the best PF on the team, but the question is how much better can he become. This could have been his break out year.

Still time, Morey said he is sooner than later...and there is nothing wrong with his back structurally.

Structurally or physically, in fact, he could still play if they needed him to it would just hurt and there's no need for him to with the glut at PF that is about to be addressed.

Morey said on 790 it is about pain management - and he is sooner rather than later.

I'm not (necessarily) Catholic but I mass overrate DMo; and I'd freak out if DMo were traded without a studley+++ return!

Now, TJo, hmm, if he's high now then sell high.

fwiw: that Feigen tweet was two days ago, and a correct response to a question that a fan asked him. "Dmo more seriously injured than initially thought? Don't see him anywhere near the bench."

The fan was referring to the away MEM game, and Feigen explained why he wasn't at the game.

I don't understand your point??? Parsons was a byproduct of other situations, so???

And is TA a net negative v CP? Ariza is easily undervalued (since he looks so ugly on O). The most accountable player of TheGoodGuys. More a latter day Battier than Parsons.

I think TA is ok, but I believe that Parsons was a better player overall and IMHO, you keep your talented players, you don't downgrade - even a little.

Let DMo rest and be are Ace in the hole come playoffs. He can be are....Capela of last year, but by passing, hitting 3's, running the big man fast break. Doing the opposite of what Capela did last year.

Were the Rox trying to not keep Parsons? Were any circumstances affecting the overall decision process?

I think you are logically askew on this one.
