Nets fire Lionel Hollins, GM Billy King "steps down"

Nets considering Bryan Colangelo for general manager role

 

He's an upgrade over King, but that's not saying much. Colangelo is nothing to write home about.

It's going to take a lot of luck and some real craftiness on the part of the next GM to fix the Nets, especially since they have virtually no picks in the future.

We may miss out on Thibs assuming he wants to take over that mess.

 

I don't know why anyone would want to be the Nets coach. They don't own their draft pick until 2020. They have a owner who meddles even though he spends half the season overseas. It's just a bad situation in BK.

 

Thibs would get the most of out of this group, defensively. That in itself is worth so much more than Mchale, JB, and current coaching staff.

We'd at least get back on track defensively, which is something that's non-existent.
