Hell even 50% would be awesome. He really had a great game, arguably the best of his career due to how he was playing on both ends of the court. If we got that for 40 games a season, the Rockets would be set. Unfortunately he's done this several times before and we always hope he's turned the corner and it's never the case. I think we just enjoy it and thank him for having one of his best games this near to the end.

Terence has shown he can be a legit scoring option, he just needs to stay aggressive and go to the rim with some determination and not fall in love with the long ball even though it was falling for him tonight. Great 4th qtr by the entire team, total team win!

Of course. When he deserves it, sure. When he doesn't he should get proper credit. As should everybody on the team. Some just try to make Harden out to be this utter atrocity when he's just not, though. But whatever.

As for the game...this was a great team win. Dwight/Jones MVP's. Harden/Thornton/Bev/Ariza all good performances as well.

This may sound ridiculous. But Dwight may be playing better right now than Orlando Dwight offensively. He is averaging over the last like 7 games 20 something points WITH harden and not even 15 shots a game. Defensively though that Dwight is unmatched. This is a good sign

I think you're comparing with certain people's "Hatred" oh Harden all game long, as to those that "Get frustrated when it's due."

Harden's first half was horrendous. He was extremely lazy on offense, making horrible passes, especially late leading to momentum changing points for the Grizzlies. He struggled some more out of the gate in the second half, but something woke up him up, and he just became a smart player.

He became the "Shoot first, then make the simple extra pass when needed" type player. Not only did his turnovers go down dramatically while playing like this, his points went up as well. It was a tale of two completely different halves. The hating on Harden in the first half was deserved, but the praise for midway through the second half was deserved as well. He played a great game then.

Of course. There are some who are completely ridiculous regarding Harden.

As for the rest of your post...very well said. Agreed on everything.

Your the ****ing ridiculous person here. We have to meet your criteria on how to be a good fan. A wise one man once said, who died and made you official. Trying to police the forum and act like Harden was never bad. You come here and throw salt whenever he has a good game.

Our leader fixed his turnover issues in the 1st half and responded with a helluva 2nd half on both ends of the court. That's exactly what good players do.

Hats off to Harden and the crew for winning 6 in a row. Hopefully the streak continues tomorrow night against the Wolves.

    Let's go Rockets!!!

Great post! I don't think most fans come on the board just to ***** on our best player, but the heat of the game when he's handing out TO's and getting caught ball watching consistently it becomes frustrating to watch, but no doubt he's still the best player on this team and when he's locked in offensively & trying on defense it's a joy to watch.

Is this the closest thing we've had to a blow out win this season?

They hit their 3's and free throws, dominated the boards, and took care of the ball after the first quarter(8 TOs in the 1st, 6 the rest of the game). In other words, they played the complete opposite of how they normally do.

Mike Conley missing the game. Their guard play was atrocious. TOs after TOs down the stretch.

We hit our threes but still made many mistakes. Hopefully, this is the one game we can build on going forward.

Aside from the Lakers. But that almost doesn't count.

Harden has his issues, luckily they are mostly mental.

That's how I see it. At times he stops the ball, at times he gives no F's about defense, and at times he just...stands around.

I think that's why some of us feel that if you bring in a coach that can really get into him and get him motivated that you'll see MVP Harden a lot more often then whatever it is he does out there sometimes.
