One poster here had the courage to share a personal story that should put all the ridiculous conspiracy theories and b!Tching to rest but nooo.
The thing is that nerves is something that even modern medicine is often baffled with. And sadly it affects BOTH jones and Dmo.

Man you don't know how long it takes and you know this. Everybody heals differently so you can't go off of what you read on goggle.

Lastly - I'm not trying to say that we should praise Terrence for surviving a stroke or anything. But what I am trying to say is that is ANY injury to the spine, or brain should always be viewed as serious, and while these athletes are remarkable and can recover quick with extensive rehab, and the best doctor support, maybe folks that have these same injuries we are talking about with Jones and D-Mo (drop foot, disk fusion) often NEVER recover 100%.

We are LUCKY to have them play at a high level again, and we need to assume the risks that medical professionals will see when evaluating every inch of their bodies in free agency and trades. Medical professionals will take this S#$% way more serious than you will if you've been lucky enough to never experience them in your personal life.

Alrighty... Enough of Dobro's deep thoughts lol. Need to get some work done before heading to the frozen mid-west this afternoon... ugh.

Can we just find ONE, just ONE out of all our power forwards that can give us what we need at that position. Because so far this season, none have produced the way we need them to. I like all our players when they are playing well.

Again, I do know how long it takes, but you simply don't want to accept that OR even look into it to confirm or deny what I say. You simply want to suggest that I am wrong....which is why trying to talk to someone like you is incredibly frustrating. I know what your problem is, you want to make more excuses for Jones' poor play last year but according to what modern medicine says is normal recovery times, it wouldn't be a good excuse.

Honestly, you'd be better off still blaming the nerve problem from much earlier in the season and letting the pneumothorax go. Even if you don't realize it, you are embarrassing yourself and I'm trying to save you from that.

Lol. Just showing you how a broken clock can be right twice a day. Trust me, your knowledge matters very little on T D S or battleredblog.

Hopefully you can delve into more nuanced discussion in the future instead of just randomely pick players to call garbage.

Agreed, social media is so demonic these days. But you're right, we do need to get back to doing the old fashion way. I'm pretty sure bobby isn't nothing like what he is on the internet in person. But then again we have a lot of know it all's in this world.

We've agreed on Dmo and Jones since day one. I was really hoping they would form this dynamic duo at the PF position. But these darn injuries blocked that party once again.

Unlikely, none of our power forwards are any good.

Harrell might turn into something 2-3 years from now, but PF help is going to have come either via free agency or trade.

DMo had back surgery less than a year ago and has not looked like himself since his return. Only on Clutchfans would people point to conspiracy. This is a guy who busted his ass to get back on the court and now he's going to sit games and get MRIs done on his back so that the team can showcase someone else for two weeks? Has Jones even seen an increase in playing time since DMo has sat out? The answer is no: 23mpg since DMo's been on the inactive roster vs 23 with him on the roster. No change whatsoever in playing time.

You all are toxic. No one cares about the Rockets anymore, you all just want your opinions validated, to feel like experts instead of fans. And anyone who disagrees with you is a Whoever Only Fan. I get it, it's easier to marginalize someone in your mind when you label them like that. No need for critical though after that. This place is worse than the old ESPN boards now. The mods are absent and ego rules over reason.

the only insane are the ones who made up and continue to repeat this crazy conspiracy theory. Like having a back surgery is nothing serious in the first place! It can't have real setbacks it must be a conspiracy. Ridiculous and sad.

I disagree but then again "good" is subjective. Look at Marcus Morris and Patrick Patterson and see what they have done after the rockets. I think our PFs have the ability to be nba rotation players in the realms of the previously mentioned players. I think DMo has the most potential but so far it's been a flash in the pan with more questions than answers.

DMo was more than a flash in the pan for the entire year last year - this is just silly.

When Dwight was out - and he had to man the post he was like 17-7.

He is that rare player that doesn't mind being a solid role player but can step it up if needed.

The Rockets record last year with Dwight and without Dwight was basically the same last year - and DMo was a major reason for that...

DMo is a starting caliber player, who plays good on both sides of the ball - not a STAR by any means but someone that makes the team better, we need more of that.

Again, "good" is subjective, but I would subjectively say they were good mid-1st round picks.

    Maybe, maybe not.

Fact of the matter is he played in 71 games last season and started 62 games. I realize advanced stats don't cover everything... but his cumulative year wasn't that impressive or more accurately as impressive as you state. If you can pull up the actual splits for DMo when Dwight went out that may help more.

Let's see him do what you claim in two consecutive seasons and we will have a much better idea than a season shortened by injury.

Hope Dmo is not a flash in the pan or flush down the toilet

To clarify my flash in the pan comment, I meant his NBA career.
