By the way, Terrance Jones had a BRUISED nerve, nothing that would last beyond last year, it just takes a while for nerves to heal. DD
Bobby suffers from " have to have the last word syndrome" as well as " I am always right about everything I say or do syndrome". He act like he's the God of basketball analysis. Dude thinks he could spot talent a few miles away . We were all high on Dmo when we acquired him. And I remember your passionate excitement as well. But Dmo couldn't beat out this talent-less player name Jones. He had his shot in his rookie year but the stage was too big for him. He wasn't ready so Mchale sent him to the D-league. Dmo got his second chance in his sophomore year but like I mentioned a few sentences ago Jones beat him out. That's why Bobby holds onto this bashing Jones agenda on every single Rockets forum. And Dobro trust me when I say, every Rockets forum.
Htownballer38 is HUGE DMo hater. always double or tripple posts. Now out of the last 5 posts 4 are his. I bet all negative about DMo. Long time ignore list member
I don't care if you put me on ignore list because I don't share the same insane love for one particular player. This just shows how childish and immature you are. Grow up dude
Wow, you are ridiculous. Look it up for yourself if you doubt what I'm saying. My medical training or past experience has no bearing on the typical recovery time for pneumothorax. At most people are back 100% within a month, but typically it takes 1-2 weeks to get over. Either accept it as fact, or do some research and try to disprove me.
Nah. I won't tell you who I am on T D S but I would never say you used a lot of logic in our discussions and with others. Again. This is jones worst season since his rookie year where he only played a handful of games. He was actually an average NBA player last season and before but you claimed he was garbage despite being the defintion of an average role player. Lastly, one season doesn't make a player garbage. So kudos for going against common wisdom and statistical analysis!
DD - You'll never hear a doctor EVER say that any injury such as this would NOT have permanent damage potentially, or that there wouldn't be challenges ahead to get back to 100%. If you think Nerve damage isn't to be taken seriously than you've obviously had no experience and have been lucky to avoid these medical issues in your family and with yourself in the past. Peroneal nerve damage was the diagnosis per the article and notes below. For those of you that are lucky enough to have no experience with Stroke, brain, and spinal injury in your family or with yourself, this is commonly known as "drop foot" when the damage to this part of the body is permanent due to a stroke, or some other injury to your brain or spinal column. Many people that have this injury, aren't able to recover long term. However that is mostly with older people that you hear of this happening. Jones was a young athlete at the time so its no surprise he could recover quicker than your grandparents. I know it sounds dramatic to use the terms STROKE, or SPINAL, etc. in the same paragraph as Jones' injury, but the symptoms are there from this injury to a lesser degree. There is also common knowledge in this field to where when you do sustain an injury or damage in this field that you often won't gain 100% back, or it often takes YEARS of PT to get back over time. Also if you have experience in this field, you will understand how sudden lack of movement in an entire limb randomly like this can be a major cause for concern. Obviously the Rockets were concerned as well to the point to where they had him hospitalized FIVE DAYS, and had a SPINAL TAP performed. When have you guys ever been in the hospital for five days with a spinal tap for nothing that potentially serious??? Here is the article and quotes- http://www.houstonchronicle.com/spo...ts-Jones-makes-his-way-back-after-6068877.php
A very widely accepted opinion among those who know the game well inside and out. Tjones is the Brian Hoyer of this Rockets team.
I imagine your opinion there matters as little as it does here. Anyway, I'm going to move on now, I'm sorry that you were and are wrong but there's nothing I can do to help you.
btw: If we get any real news of DMo's progress and it get posted here, can someone post it in it's own thread as well. We need a DMo news thread. This is a horrible place to sift through looking for news. rep to anyone who starts a thread on DMo injury update news.
LOL. This is the only one I've been to and it is the best one I know of. However people are people, and as I noted before this internet culture is really something else nowadays. But we are all part of it, and non of us are innocent bystanders to the contribution. We should all do more productive things and we should get back to communicating on a more personal level where the divisiveness can't breed itself as easily. If me, you, Hollic (well maybe not Hollic), but Bobby, DD, etc. all were at the bar having beers talking about the Rockets, no way we wouldn't most likely have a great time, and bond. Maybe even find some common ground, and understand others position. D-Mo & Jones aren't basketball players on this site. They exist as a virtual rite of passage. When in reality in a 3D existence they are both very talented athletes who are trying their damnest to help OUR basketball team win, and to give us a show 82 nights + a year.
