LOL, is it Putney or Pootney? Doesn't matter, the dude can ball but his ass will be knocked around in the NBA by the MUCH thicker bodies.

Durant has 60 lbs+ on this man. Not even close to being able to play in this league

    Probably more like 35 lbs.

But he's bulkier than Will Barton.

That's why I'm asking what position he plays in the NBA. I could see him getting minutes on the wing. Looks like a super long shooting guard to me.

However he's one of the top shot blockers in the NBDL. Around 3rd or so with like 5 blocks a game or something like that. Looks like he spaces himself away from contact well and does a great job of helping weak side. I dunno. Giant praying mantis that's for sure.

SF is his position - and height is more important than girth....plenty of skinny guys have been successful NBA players.

He doesn't have to defend to play on the Rockets silly.

Lol exactly. This dude would get punished by some of the bigger wings.

This is very true, as our defense is porous. But we need to find some two players, as we have virtually none. Retooling around Harden means getting the absolute best we can. I don't mind having him as that final spot on the roster if he shows he can score at NBA level however.

I would love to know what his standing reach and wingspan are?

A lot of chase down blocks here too from UMASS.

Don't see how weight affects defense in this NBA. Physical play on the perimeter had been phased out. Foot speed and length are better tools now days.

I think this is very accurate and important point.

I keep closing my eyes and imagining this guy in a yellow uniform with a bridge on his chest. Think he'd fit their small-ball lineups?

Dang dude has quick hands and gets off the ground fast. Seems to recover quickly with his long strides. Love his energy.

I was fixing to start a thread on him in the Vipers forum. But wanted to wait until the 15th to see what other moves we made. He's the best player on the Vipers, far better than Walker, Smith, Richmond, etc.

So serious question: will we sign him?
