    You're still denying it?

He's at 15.9, was never higher than 15.0 prior to this season.

Still well within an acceptable range for his usage level.

DD has been knocking Harden, at least somewhat, at least recently.

Maybe, maybe no. It certainly hasn't been proven.

You have absolutely no freakin' clue what you're talking about. Though the organization has some issues, it is among the better-run franchises in the league.

No, the poor assist to turnover truth. Which is horrible for a PG, or initiator.

But you keep that head in the sand.

AST/TO ratio and all stats that paint a negative picture of Harden are for idiots, the Larsv8 Committee of Statistics has spoken. Using a stat the Committee hasn't approved makes you a scapegoating idiot without any knowledge of basketball.

If you aren't interested in facts, you are welcome to put me on ignore and continue to believe that Harden's court vision is the root of all the Rockets problems.

There is an apolgist excuse for every negative element of Harden's game. Do they think he is infallible?
Astronomical amount of turnovers - 'but it's normal with his usage rate'
low FG% - 'but his fg% doesn't matter because he shoots a lot of free throws!'
all time lazy defense - 'He plays too many minutes!'

Is there anything that this infallible god known as James Harden does wrong that IS his fault?

His assist to turnover ratio this year is not great, but the last 2 seasons it's been well within acceptable range.(last year his ratio is the same as what Lebron and curry are currently sitting at this year) I don't know where you got the idea that below a 2 is bad, but there are plenty of high usage guys with lower than a 2.0 assist to turnover ratio.

It's also hard to compare his number with the number of a straight up point guard when point guards don't do nearly as much shooting and driving as Harden.

He needs to get his turnovers back down to the level of the last 2 years, but you are just plain wrong about this assist to turnover number thing.

Good Lord the hyperbole on this board is absurd...

Harden is not "infallible". Nobody (who's worth listening to) thinks he's "infallible". He is a damn good basketball who has taken a step back from his season last year. He very much needs to improve his defense and turnovers. I don't think anybody is saying otherwise. He's just not the hopeless disaster that some are trying to make him out to be.

A scoring Harden may prove to be burden for Rockets

The problem is that it's a pretty bad ratio for a high usage player itself, but you have to see that Harden DEMANDS the ball at all times and tells guys to play off the ball, even when a guy like Lawson (who had a 3.84 ratio last season) is on the roster.

Having a bad AST/TO ratio is forgiveable if the player is put in bad situations, a big man or a team where no one is capable of making a play. But Harden specifically asked for a playmaker, got an elite one in Lawson and then continued with the ballhogging. And putting up abysmal numbers plus having his team losing while doing it hasn't resulted in any change regarding his mentality or approach.

Harden is basically the PG on this team of course he's going to have a high usage rate. Name another Superstar wing that isn't also ball dominant especially factoring him being on a team with only one other playmaker who's pretty much been a non-factor all season long.

His usage rate was under 30% in his first two seasons here when both Parsons and Lin were on the team. Two players that could create shots for themselves or teammates.
