Harden and Howard are gonna be coaches choices if they hope to make it. Both are well known but D12 is a " immature coach killing crybaby" and Harden is "No defense James Haren" to the general public.

This season, that is a fair outcome.

"I'm not voting for them! If they don't get voted into this meaningless exhibition game, hopefully it'll motivate them and they'll change their ways!"

    Yeah, okay.

Dwight's gonna take vacation time or do whatever.
James will a) be at the all-star parties or b) hanging with Khloe for the all-star break (or c) possibly both)

"Oh no! They didn't vote me in! Better go hit the gym and work on my game!"

    Stop it.

This pretty much. Haren will probably join the Kardashian's on their next family trip is he doesn't make the team.

JR.. you cant win the lottery if you dont play.... same applies here. You cant humble harden unless you actually do something about it. Coach wont take him out to humble him then we as fans are going to refuse to vote him in to try to humble him. Laugh if you want but someone has to try something.. you sure arent doing anything about it.

I wish Kobe would be 4th and rotate down so that Green / Leonard / Durant was the starting frontcourt. Leonard will get on the bench for sure, but he deserves to start.

With that said, I wonder if Kobe would be voted in by the coaches.

Because of defense and efficiency I can see the argument, but Harden is still putting up 7 more points, 3 more boards and 3 more assist

And I'm sorry to tell you, HE WON'T CARE!

Don't vote him in, I don't care and he probably doesn't either. :)

Then harden should have millions of votes. Everyone knows him and talks about him ( for his defensive lapses )

so? his usage rate of course allows that. doesn't make Thompson over harden incorrect. if you're going to defend Harden that way then you in no way should ever complain about how Westbrook plays

What!!!! How dare you sir!! Lol, just kidding, you're spot on. He doesn't give a **** and he makes it clear every game this season. Haha, the only positive to voting him in is it takes away some free time... Then again he plays proball... so he gets a lot of free time regardless, we already saw him lose the MVP and not pull an hakeem... So I doubt the ****ing Allstar game matters to him. He'll just go out and yell "swag" a lot and make me wish I played proball rather than wasting my life on a forum.... FML

A trade of Harden and Howard for Leonard, if there weren't salary cap issues, might be one the Rockets would do alright by.

Obviously in the minority, but I think Harden cares. He may not be willing to do what it takes to become truly elite, but I think he cares a lot about being perceived that way, at least individually. He clearly enjoys the celebrity/elevated status -- I think he would feel some type of way about sitting out while all of his buddies are out there.

That said, I'm not working overtime to send him like I did last season.

You would think that would motivate him, but it doesn't. The stuff that you think would motivate a basketball player doesn't motivate Harden.

It would be so "Rockets" if they were to bring it in the Playoffs like we thought they would in the regular season.:cool:
