Careful, now. You don't want to get the "DMoOF"'s after you. ;) They are a loyal bunch.

Yes, we have asked him to fake a back injury so he doesn't get paid. DMo is all over that like white on rice

Lithuanian media ask his agent about DMo "injuries". He said DMo don't contact him, so probably nothing serious. And to question about his playing his comment was "Listen, DMo missed all training camp, and haven't played 8 month of 5 on 5, even great players can't back to rotation without struggles. He's gonna be fine."

Since DMo's minutes dropped from 20 in mid-December to 6 in end, and 0 with "sore back". It's naive to expect he'll be on the court before trades. Earliest date Jan15 when Brewers and Bev contract be on the table..

I have so many labels so far, I don't think it matters.

When are we going to start calling this a jinx thread? Based on the start date of the OP, DMo should be beyond being an "X-Factor" player by now, except for all these set backs.

and people like bobbythegreat who were so sure of themselves that he would be back without setbacks because DH had the same injury and surgery. so recovery should be the same

The "setback" is fatigued muscles.....not really something to be worried about, and Dwight went through the same thing, he just played through it because the Lakers were total garbage when he wasn't playing.

Personally I think this "setback" is all about January 15th. I'm expecting DMo to re-appear (either in a Rox uni or another uni) and be magically healed and ready to roll after January 15th.

not so sure about that. for a team struggling to even be .500 in the western conference who are supposed to have championship or bust aspirations, I don't think Hou has the luxury to just sit a Dmo especially with the up and down play from the bigs.

Understand the doubts. Just keep in mind everybody is on the table other than H&H. e-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y.

As Dontas' obvious personal physician, I sure hope you are right. Even though you were obviously wrong that he would be completely ready to go by November 1st. Hence the need to go ahead, and move Jones, etc. because Donatas would be sucking up all the PF minutes.

You know I really am at a loss for words with you guys. This is all about you trying to earn your card as D-Mo's ultimate fan (Jones' anti-fan), but you would think that any serious fan of D-Mo's would have concern for his health to continue. Instead you and BHollic parade around pride and display all-knowing physician powers. What's the old parable say about Pride and Falls?

You are sort of setting yourself up here dude, but to each his own.

If this is all about trying to prove some conspiracy that Morey is faking an injury to hold Donatas out of trades to boost Jones' value than you are truly lost. There is no GM in the league that will be trading for Jones based off of two weeks of playing time. He's got three years prior of data to show who he is and who he isn't. Morey isn't fooling anybody.

Jones might or might not get traded but D-Mo faking an injury isn't dictating anything with a future deal.

shut up dobro with all the anti-jones pride DMo rhetoric. lol so r****ded.

both guys might get traded. but for sure terrence is gone. and it's not because we're anti-Jones. We're not. we're simply pro-rockets and pro-realistic. we didn't jinx terrence. we just called him what he is - just another player.

lol you always gotta make this about dmo and _ones, don't you? lol

Honestly, how would you know? And Dwight has not been the same player since his surgery.

I hate back injuries. Always something that I think has a high probability to linger on long term

Should of kept smith(sacrifice a few dumb ass turnovers) and been prepared to ship jones or Dmo. Though I understand moreys wanting to keep a very young jones and Dmo to continue with harden through his prime

Better safe than sorry.....no need to rush back at this point.....and I like seeing Harrell getting some time.

What's sad about that is Smith would be the best defender on the Rockets if he were here due to Dwight's struggles. The Rockets did all they could to keep him, he just wanted to go to LA.

This. I'd much rather see Harrell hold it down until Dmo is good to go non stop. No more garbage Jones.

Well if Jones learns how to play basketball worth a damn at some point in the next week and a half he's on the team, I'd love to see him doing well on the court to up his trade value.
