It could mean they have the official results, or that they pre-create pages for candidates they assume are going in. If we tested Biggio back in 2014, then we'd probably know for sure.
I'm all for Baggy getting in, and he absolutely deserves it over Hoffman, but I don't understand your rational argument for not voting for a closer. Would you seriously not vote for Mariano Rivera?
Two things I'm hoping for come 6PM est: 1) Baggy gets the nod 2) Jim Edmonds doesn't get 5%. Go dive at some more balls that any average CF would make look like a routine play ya b****.

He might be the one exception. Maybe. Here's the thing... Rivera pitched 1,283 innings; that's the rough equivalent of a 5-year career for a good starter (250 IP/year) - would a 5-year career merit HoF consideration? He has a career WAR of 56, which is just behind Dave Steib. I understand the difference; I'm just contextualizing his impact - I think it's vastly overblown. But... gun to head, I'd probably vote for him.
