We don't have the Colts equivalent for rivals in our division. We have the Spurs. They are the NFL equivalent of the Patriots.

I get it that there are some men out there that just don't like sports in general but you obviously like sports quite a bit considering how much you post on a sports forum. To like a sport to the degree you do (basketball) and HATE football the way you do is just freaking weird, especially if you grew up in Texas. Were you beaten up by football players as a kid? Are you a European woman and therefore just don’t "get" American football?

To me it's not about the Texans or Rockets being better, Football is just so main stream and the coverage is overwhelming. I also didn't grow up with the Texans, I was already in my 20s when they came up as a franchise, I don't have strong roots with this team. I'm sure if the Oilers were still around they would be as loved by me as Rockets/Astros.
