So strang just rekt the sweat dna evidence claiming its just a theory from that fat *** Kratz, and that all it was was DNA of Avery period and wasnt directly linked to sweat?
Seems like an extremely very engrossing and satisfying watch. But it also seems extremely infuriating, which means I'll be avoiding this for the near future.

Just getting into this series now .. Damn watching this is making me angry Already I can tell that it's very possible he did it. However, I can also say the case was so mismanaged and the police created so much doubt in so much evidence that I don't think I could get beyond reasonable doubt myself. What a depressing feeling.
This is sort of like the OJ case... with a different outcome. The state mis-managed the OJ case too... and thus he was found not-guilty.... yet there really is nobody who believes he didn't do it.
Len Kachinsky With a creepy smile like that, I wouldn't think twice about hiring him as a defense lawyer.
Kind of, I think everyone knew OJ did it...there's plenty of people that think Avery didn't do it. I haven't finished the series yet so I'm still on the fence for my opinion. Like I said earlier the true travesty is that the kid ended up locked up.
I don't know, there's a lot of stuff on both sides that is compelling. I find it particularly interesting that in the interview I watched last night the defense lawyer wouldn't answer whether the guy had purchased leg irons just before the murder occurred saying he couldn't remember. However, a lot of the defense attorney's points about things being planted are very disturbing. The ones about the bones in the guy's firepit being proven as planted is troubling in particular. My gut is that the guy is probably guilty but that the cops probably planted evidence to make it a solid case.
"MOM, what does inconcistent mean". My jaw dropped when I heard that. So wrong what they did to that kid.
Not a doc guy at all but loved this after seeing the thread on CF's, anyone else got Netflix must watches? Other Shows CF's has introduced me - breaking bad - walking dead
This guy struck me as an ambulance chaser through and through and that's who the state gave that poor kid as his defense attorney.......
That evidence wasn't introduced at Steven Avery's trial. I can completely believe that he didn't know when the leg irons were purchased because he never had to litigate that issue. Keep in mind this trial is close to a decade old by now -- if something wasn't a key part of my defense/case, I would certainly struggle to remember it. I have trouble enough remembering what I ate for dinner last week!
I think he lied when he said it wasn't presented at court. I looked at the court documents of State of Wisconsin vs Steve Avery and it specifically says that the leg irons were presented in trial along with the handcuffs.
The leg irons and handcuffs have zero impact on Steven Avery as that account of events(Dassey's rape/murder confession) was not used against Avery. I think the police found those and used them during the Dassey coerced confession. This is all based on the filmmakers and Strang's recent interviews stating that there were two completely different prosecutions.
