Herman to Wright: "Who are you? Are you like 19?" Nick Wright trying to inject himself in this story that has nothing to do with him.
Wright: Can we have lunch when you have time? Herman: Who's this? Nick Wright Herman: Absolutely not.
"Tom when time slows down for you can we have lunch?" "Who is this?" "This is Nick" "No, absolutely not" *CLICK* LMAO
I'm assuming you guys heard the interview, curious did the point of what John and Nick was trying to make, make sense to you guys?
No they were deflecting. They were just arguing the same way my stoner friend argues. You prove their point wrong and then they say "well that's not even the point!"
I think coach was pissed his own guy didn't get the story and Nick was spot on. That's a passionate coach! Got to love it.
Both guys had good and bad points. But all John had to say was he got one or two facts wrong. My bad. That's all he had to say.
Maybe to someone that hasnt been following this story and yesterdays twitter beef What Lopez reported was a possible ncaa violation so you you can understand why herman is heated regardless, it was a fun listen lol
Spot on for what? the whole point is that John reported that they MET in HOUSTON when Kyle has been in Arizona the whole time, they just talked over the phone. So yes they did talk but there was NEVER a meeting in PERSON which was what john lopez reported.
Nick and John had no point. Herman came out from the beginning saying that the most important point (and headline) of Lopez's story, that KA and UH *met in Houston* (during the dead period which would have been a violation), was entirely false. Herman's issue was that Lopez would not retract that. That is a problem because it hurt UH in multiple ways (both from an infraction standpoint and an integrity standpoint with other recruits). From the very beginning Nick and John tried to obfuscate that and drive the conversation off the rails. I'd say they largely succeeded, until the end.
i thought so too. it was great to hear, but personal attacks were not that necessary. i thought nick and lopez held their own without going down that road. but hearing any conflict on radio, is always good lol. both sides made their points love the passion from herman. what other houston coach would call up and do this?
I don't think anyone came out a winner. Maybe the coach was less of a loser than the hosts but that was so unnecessary.
Both kept interrupting each other. Can I talk? No, can I talk? I let you talk, now let me talk! Can I finish? No, can I finish? I let you finish, now let me do the same! ______________________ One of them(Lopez/Wright) brought up Bruce Feldman for mentioning in his article it being a dead period. Herman said that was wrong. They asked him if he's gonna go after Feldman for being wrong. I understand you want to defend your program but should have let it go.
