This is far from a unique opinion, but I loved Conan during his Late Night days, and his TBS show just doesn't do it for me anymore. I watched it solidly for the first couple of months it was on, and I still check back in every so often. I just can't get back into it in the same way.
Jimmy is amazing at connecting with those people. Watch their faces when he starts his laughter. They all brighten up considerably.
Conan may not be the funniest but he's the most likable imo. He's my number one. You either get what he brings or you don't. I don't think there is much in-between. I also like Andy. Jimmy is a close second and I like his games/musical stuff/skits.
Kimmel is more charismatic. Conan is funnier. Fallon really lets his guests take the spotlight. All great hosts.
Fallon was probably a needed generational shift like when Mike Myers and Sandler joined the Carvey-Hartman cast on SNL, but Conan's experience could have turned that platform into a talent factory like Carson was in the early '80s.
Give it a shot, it's the most relaxed program out there, completely uninterested in making viral clips, dedicated to putting on a good show. And Conan, unlike former stand-ups like Leno and Fallon, actually consistently feature stand-up comics on his show. People that stroll on stage with 500 Twitter followers and then show up again for a second visit a few years later with 50,000. He's actually attempting to break new talents and change an artist's life. Unlike the guy that lets Madonna do stand-up "comedy."
I like Conan but for every A-list guest he gets, 4 D-list stars follow like Breckin Meyer and Chris Klein.
Jimmy Fallon, Russell Brand, Russel Peters, Sarah Silverman, & Chelsea Handler aren't funny. Russell Peters has made tens of million from his stand-up act. I'd hate to think how much more Brand has made from being a celebrity comedian too, ie unfunny and untalented.
Conan should just stop with the talk show and do remotes for 30 minutes. That's where he is at his best.
I think youre wrong about the two in bold but its all subjective. I think its hard enough to be a women comedian in the industry, but its even harder to blow up and be where they are and have the respect they have from other comedians. As for late night shows, this is how I view them. Conan>>Kimmel>>>>Colbert>>>>>Fallon>>>>>>>>>>>Myers

Breh would you just tell us why and at what particular minute we should pay attention? Some of us aren't trying to sit through 11 minutes of Conan, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, dude.
