He isn't mature enough to hold himself accountable. I still think that he can be a #1 guy, but he needs the right coach to push his buttons and get him to buy in to a system, both offensively and defensively.

We are married to Harden unless he becomes injury prone.

Rockets do everything they can as an organization and hope he matures cause we already learned how hard it is to acquire elite talent.

Or shall we RELOAD with a "destiny fufilled" Hayes/Nene/Gasol lineup.

Not often, but remember the Francis trade for TMac. Was a multi-layers trade, but still took me by surprise. I wouldn't be surprised this time. Harden is just lazy.

I think he wants to be traded, but we should only look for a good/great superstar trade.

Just take the ball away from him as the initiator and he is a lot better without the turnovers....his defense still sucks, but as long as he is scoring and not turning it over we can live with that.

Just sit him on the bench until he learns to play with others...

Actually can you blame the dude? He just got 200 million from Adidas and is riding out a 90 million dollar contract with the Rockets. I mean, if we had that kind of money in our bank, would we need to play hard on defense?

All we would need is to pad stats so another team might think they are getting a bargain. Then get the next big contract and you've got a retirement fund right there.

    Think about it

Kobe Bryant is one of the biggest A-Holes in the NBA... Made millions and millions of money... But every year he brought the intensity like he never won a ring.

There's a difference between guys who want to be great and those who just want the glory...

Harden just wants the glory... And you're right he has almost 300 million so NO he doesn't give a crap.. He has his..

I'll admit it... harden fooled me. I thought the dude had heart. I thought he wanted to be great. Turns out he was just another Royce White looking for a payday...

Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice - shame on me...

I hope the Rox have signed a prenup if you say they are married

God forbid I marry a female version of Harden, sex addicted, lazy, talented but not cooking well consistently

What killed me tonight was it appeared Harden really didn't seem interested. He was either chunking 3's (notice he was shooting 3s kicking his legs out like Thornton) or throwing bad passes. He didn't get a couple of calls, so he decided he wasn't driving anymore.

He shot 36% from the field and had 8 TOs. I long for the days when our superstars were actually superstars. Harden could possibly be truly great with his skillset, but he just doesn't have the want to and the you can't beat me attitude that Jordan, Magic, Bird, Lebron, etc. had or have.

He teased us last year, but harnessing his best in some games that made us step back and think how lucky we are to have James Harden on our team. I want that JH back. I'm not digging the $200M Kardashian makeover that happened this off-season.

I believe he needs a coach like Tibs or Cassell that will push him to be as great as he can be. Points, assists, rebounds, and steals don't define greatness--wins and championships do.

Harden has an opportunity to lead this team to greatness, he just needs to seize it now!

This is what desperately needs to happen. It is clear as day. Can JB nut up and demand that the PG facilitates the offense?

Exactly. He has all the money to get into the Kardashian circle and that's all he cares about now.

James Harden is a self-entitled little ****. I don't know how he can forget where he came from but so many black millionaires have fallen into the same trap. His taste in women alone is all u need to know to understand what type of person he has become. Change of scenery might be his best option, but I don't see him change and ve the player he was last year. He got his and that is what he's all about. Money and glory, without hard work and determination is worth nothing. Harden is nothing to me as he should to you. It baffles me how you can care about a basketball player who doesn't give a damn about you, even laughs at you and not even have the courtesy to talk normal with fans. Coaches allow him to be this spoiled brat so that only makes it worse. He still has some of y'all fooled, but he cannot fool me twice.

Harden will never change. He was immature turd back in OKC, hanging out with hookers in yachts. We need a coach like Popovič, who'd be bigger star than Harden, otherwise it's doomed. And there are no Pops available to get. But like I said, based on Les' words during broadcast - Harden is not being traded ever. Les thinks the world of him.
Get used to mediocrity, Houston, that's your future for the next decade.

This is more on Morey than on Harden. Harden was lept in checked in Okc that he was a good boy, but Mchale was just so loose on discipline that Harden like an ******* took advantage of it. Freestyle offense led to a freestyle Harden. Thibodeaux can fix this cluster**** but it's going to take Morey to acknowledge his ignorance.
