This may have already been answered but is the game also televised on local tv or just ESPN?

 

This team is completely different from the team that started 2-5, especially defensively. That game got out of hand because of Hoyer's interceptions and our busted coverage on Kelce.

 

True, if Hoyer doesn't gift them 2 possessions starting in the red zone, the game would have looked very different and the Texans today are a much better team. I'm hoping they can keep it close.

 

Hoyer has had an above 90 QBrating in 6 of 11 games. The rest were almost as bad as Mallet: under 80, but above 70. He needs to have a good one.

And continue to protect the ball, he has only 7 INTs.

 

Don't recall, but was Hoyer under pressure when he threw those? KC can bring it.

Kelce worries me because we've blown coverage surrendering wide open TDs right over the middle. Seems like plays Cushing should've been guarding them.

 

That's definitely a weakness of our ILBs.

We have no one to guard guys like Kelce, Gronk, etc. Granted no one can guard Gronk, but our ILBs are poor in coverage.

 

The Texans will have real issues if J.Houston is playing. Along with Hali, they do as much damage as our boys do on the Dline... Especially, now the Texans are without Duane...the Texans must play with a lead at all costs. I trust our defense with a lead...more so than our offense playing from behind. PROTECT THE ROCK.

We were the favorite during week 1

Only difference now is they don't have Jamaal Charles.

 

We lost Duane Brown.

Also I think one of their better linemen was not 100%

 

The Chiefs defense is legit. Poe, Houston, Hali, Berry, Peters, and Smith. All guys who are above average or better.

Houston played and got a sack. Believe one of their DBs was suspended, though... he'll play Saturday.

Fwiw- KC's offense improved once Charles went down. Weird as that sounds.

Moore not playing Saturday helps us.

 

The above 90 QB rating games were the ones against the worst teams in the league I'm guessing (Titans, Jags, Saints, Bucs). I can't remember him playing well against any decent to good teams.

 

Jags, Titans, Saints, and Bills, then if you wanted to you can count garbage time games against the Colts and Falcons.
