Isn't this supposed to be about leaders? If so, why would T-Mac be included? Now if it was called "rank people who were on the Rockets at one point", then sure, you list him.
I think this list should be limited to Rockets whose career is done with. Let's see Harden finish his career before we judge it.
That is a good joke tbh. Golden State do not view us as their biggest rivals. We are not that good and pose no real threat to them. Just your 2 cents. No worries.
The Rockets greatest leader is Rudy T, and it's not even close. As a five time all star he was the best player on our team throughout most of the seventies. He courageously came back after suffering a near fatal attack by Kermit Washington to reach all star form once again. And then, as head coach he lead Hakeem and company to back to back championships. Rudy T, just like his players, had the heart of a champion, and was the leader that team needed to reach its full potential.
Rudy T is definitely up there with the Dream. Dream, rudy, clyde, yao, adleman, jvg, tmac, francis, dwight and last james Harden.
Can I vote instead for the most annoying poster in the history of this board? Guessing most wont even need a poll for that.
This thread says more a lot about a guy who cares less about current Rockets games at any time and more about past players who have NO bearing whatsoever on the present. I mean is it really that hard to let go?
But, you see. That's why Rudy is so special. Not only was he one of our greatest players. But he was also our only coach to lead us to a chamionship. Rudy is extra special to this franchise.
it is not playoff yet. Obviously we are going no where this playoff. BTW, glad that YAO is second at the poll, under Heikeem no doubt.
