The whole millennial bucket doesn't make sense.

Its too large a group of people.

The people who grew up in a time when the internet didn't exist, such as myself, should not be considered millennials.

    Google "blaming millennials".

Its a popular position to hold.

Aren't almost all current NBA players millennials? (except maybe old folks like Kobe)

If you can't deal with them, you shouldn't be in this business.

It's way too large a group. Something like 1980s to 2000s. I have little in common regarding the time period I was raised compared to 36 or 16 year olds. It shouldn't really only be a decade per group or something.

Sarver is wrong. He's looking for a theoretical cause for the Suns' disaster, and it's really just simple logic.

It's a mess here in PHX. The morale is terrible. Horny LOST his players a season ago. You can catch any of the players getting obliterated at a Scottsdale bar.

Everything is available. The closest to untouchable is Knight.

I don't know why you would build your future with 2 small volume shooters.

Exactly my thinking here, it's not being millennials that makes these guy douchebags, they're simply just douchebags.

Codman, just how close to untouchable is Knight? I always thought Knight is exactly the type of PG (combo-guard) that would work well in tandem with Harden.

With Bledose out for the long-term, he's really the only guy on that roster that can create his own shot and score in volumes.

He makes a TON of money though and he's on the books until 2020 I believe. His youth is appealing and I've heard that he's coachable, a player-quality that PHX has been struggling to find since Horny came in and, well, since Nashty called it quits.

If anything, Knight's going to want out of PHX before they want him out. He already has the contract and endorsements. He's going to want to win sooner or later. He's played in Detroit and Milwaukee, and while his individual numbers were okay, not a whole lot can be said for the organizations he played for at the time. To their credit though, the Bucks look like a team of the future. The Greek Freak will continue to develop. (Tangent/my bad)

However, with the Suns' record, a roster that absolutely DESPISES Horny and no light at the end of the tunnel, I'd say he can be had for the right price.

The roster looks, as of now, like it's ready for a rebuild (again). The Morris experiment didn't work. Chandler is aging. Bledsoe won't be the same explosive guard ever again (IMO). PJ Tucker isn't going to give you 20 ppg. And Horny is Horny. He's a coach with good ideas but STRUGGLES to create relationships and find a "voice."

The desert is an ugly place to play for now.

Knight is a good guy and a leader. He is beloved by his former teammates and is a church person. I think sooner or later when horny is gone and morris is gone he will be the leader there. Even if they are still not winning. Hes a great person.

This is true. Though, I have no insight about his religious ties and their influence in his activity on the court.

He is an amazing talent, but I don't know if he's ready to be a leader with such limited experience. If he stays in PHX, he'll probably be "the man" because of his stats and the fact that they'll be in a rebuilding mode, with a bunch of rooks.

Tyson didn't sign to be part of a total reconstruction. I'm sure he wants his last 4-5 years in the league to be with a team going in a positive direction. From past interviews, he prefers to play with a contender.

He DID say that he liked the idea of starting a mentoring role during the last years of his career. I don't think he meant 2016. I genuinely feel bad for him, considering how Dallas handled him (twice) after being a HUGE reason for their championship. Now, he has to sit through an injury-plagued, dysfunctional year with crappy morale. I don't think he could assist in alleviating the level of discombobulation in that locker room, even with his leadership capabilities and reputation of bringing rosters together.

To say that millenials can't deal with setback is just a sweeping generalization. Everyone reacts differently - Markieff Morris has a tougher time than most others would with his brother being dealt away to Detroit
