Texans vs Chiefs

Hopefully Cincy beats Pitt (Ugh!) so we can play Denver in the 2nd rd if we beat KC.

 

I fully expect the Chiefs to win, but the game being at home could help. KC is just unbelievable right now.

 

Not scared. KC is on a hell of a hot streak, but it's about time that comes to an end. NRG is gonna be rocking (especially because I'll be there )!

 

So if we beat the Chiefs do we play Broncos or pats?

i think its whoever the lower seed of the two WC game winners plays denver, other one plays NE. so we want cincy to beat pittsburgh

 

Going to be tough at AJ McCarron at QB. Bengals another one-and-done imo.

 

I don't buy into momentum. when an unstoppable force like watt meets momentum, momentum falls into the fetal position. Let's get behind hoyer and hope he plays the game of his life.

If Pittsburgh and Houston win, Texans will play the pats in round 2.

That loss actually hurt more than Buffalo to me. Beat KC and would have played Buffalo in AFC title game.

 

If Steelers beat Cincy they play at Denver.

I think the Chiefs will have a hard time moving the ball against the Texans' D.

Alex Smith doesn't make many mistakes so hopefully Watt and Mercy can keep the pressure on him. Got my tickets. Can't wait

The biggest factor IMO will be setting the edge which is why Clowney will be the X factor, the first time they played Clowney wasn't at 100% and wasn't able to play much. This game he should be there setting the edge and hopefully Mercilus can beat his single coverage enough to help Clowney and Watt out by making some plays when those 2 are double teamed.

Also, the elephant in the room is Hoyer. He was the largest reason for the Texans losing the game the last time these two teams faced each other. Pathetic would be a good way to describe his performance. Now no one is expecting much from him, but if he can avoid costly turnovers or if he can get hurt early enough, it could help the Texans pull out a win.
