When I read the read the title, I instantly thought of the "Mario, don't worry - we're going home" quote...

As opposed to what harden would say after such a loss... "Don't worry we're going out to the clubs to bang some big ass hoes!"

Harden is a self obsessed loser - and I can't wait for him to be off my team!

I've been a Rockets fan since BEFORE HARDEN WAS BORN! I've seen his kind before - and he is a TRASHY HUMAN BEING - just look at who he chooses to stick his junk into... People who want to waste a few more years on this loser are entitled to their own opinion... I've seen enough - Harden can go to hell!

Why do people post absolutely ridiculous polls???? I really do not get it. This is a waste of bandwidth.

You don't agree that Hakeem was the greatest leader?

he's miles ahead of Harden and light years ahead of Tmac.

My agenda is the truth. You can't accept it, that's not my problem.

Do you think Hakeem was a significantly better leader than Tmac?

    Okay, let's see

If you wanna compare Harden, a guy who proclaimed himself as the "real MVP", a guy who left a Finals participant to be the man, to "most modern athletes".... you already lost.

If you wanna compare a player tryna get paid at the twilight of his career to a player in his prime, a player expected to be the team's best player.... you already lost.

    Says who? You?

Do you think Harden is some player who's been unjustly labeled with not being a leader?

    NOW you're talking.

Harden has done none of what you stated in the last 3 years, save 2 months.

Am I lying or telling the truth?

Nothing you just said proves any "inaccuracy" in my post, nor does it have any relevance to what I was stating.

I did not reference Harden even once. Your entire argument is with a straw man you made yourself and has nothing to do with my post.

    Try harder.

Another Hate thread by Tinman because another member started a thread about Harden's and McGrady's leadership. I really wish people would grow up.

Okay, my bad. Maybe not quite "inaccuracies", but your position is definitely soft.

Obviously, not every player should be judged on the same standard.

Are you really tryna compare guys who are supposed to be a team's best players to "most players"?

Aren't you sick of the low standards?

Especially people flapping their beaks about McGrady?

Don't you realize when you look up at Toyota Center, you have people who have banners? and retired numbers?

Clyde Drexler was a better leader than both of them? Happy?

To Hell with the low ass standard fans.

Then tell Alexander I said hello.

You can kiss goodbyes to Duncan, Hakeem and others.

90% are getting them through the draft except Shaq like trades that are not common.

The owner is proud not going through the draft. ;)

Let's just say the Bulls fans want to talk about leadership,

who is the first person in their history they think about?

    what about the Lakers?

    the Celtics?

If someone thinks of Tracy McGrady instead of Hakeem Olajuwon, you question their knowledge of the Houston Rockets

You question if they care about championships

You question if they care about excellence

You question what drugs they use

Then he got caught up in this fantasy world like you.

This thread should not be about McGrady.

You are right about Hakeem and all but you think those times will come again?

It is not that easy. McGrady has played well for the Rockets and bad at times. But you cannot say he did not try in the beginning.

People should give him the respect he deserves and be done with it.
Retiring him would be a tad overblown but yup at least they should not boo him everytime.

Well, what can we expect when Hakeem did not even get respect from the organization when he was really old.

Leading is a strong word. I believe Hakeem did so and so did others.

Harden did not lead in the playoffs, he swam with the flow, had good games and bad games but boy did he NOT LEAD.

I think there are only 1 or 2 guys in history who can play soccer and basketball and have excellent footwork and basketball skill.

Not including Nash who is a good soccer player.

    They got the footwork.

The Playoff teams game planned against stopping James Harden because he's our best player.

It's not like they focused on stopping Terrence Jones and Prigioni.

They use zone and other defensive schematics these days.

    Swarm role players.

they can shut down every other role players and let the Star(Harden) get his

The Mavs were struggling themselves and you cannot count them as reliable opponent.

The Clippers were tough though, even without Paul.
Role players and Josh Smith bailed us out in the waning moments.

Nope. I still think the best Harden played in the playoffs was when he was the Sixth man at OKC.

    Simple truth.
