Yeah, he's "the man" alright....what are we 15-18 or is it 19 ? People openly laugh at Dwight these days.There is NO ONE fearing Dwight except the front office who pays a lot and gets little.
It's sad how little I care about tonight's game. I spent 3/4's of it laughing. 1/4 of it changing my NBA 2k shot form Harden to another.
It's not strange. That's Harden's MO. When things don't go his(or the team's) way, he just quits. It happened a lot less frequently last season, but with them struggling almost on a nightly basis, he's constantly doing it this year.
On top of that, he won Team USA Gold. He is a winner. The loser is the people who say he's never won anything, they've never done anything.
Watch him on the court...goes after ZERO offensive rebounds, doesn't block out...no inside/outside, he can't post up ..what else you want ? TRYING is what equals big dollars ? Goodness. He is a joke.
I'll never understand why Harden has these games where's on fire and then suddenly stops shooting. He kept forcing passes and it led to some stupid turnovers. Think all the outside criticism is affecting his game and he's trying to show he's not a selfish player but he plays tentatively instead. The fact he only shot 3 FT's (including 1 tech) tonight shows he played unaggressively. His offense bar the 4th quarter of that Pelicans game has been great for the most part. The problem is no one can defend anyone atm. Harden will be the scapegoat but even in our first few seasons into the Harden era we were far better defensively than we are now. Harden's taking all the blame at the moment on here but this is clearly a team issue not just one man. Again this season is on Morey. He's had 3 years to get a real coach in here but has refused because his ****ty Moreyball philosophy would be under threat without a lackey to do his bidding. I keep hearing about how this group is so talented but I disagree. We're clearly behind the majority of the "contenders" going into this season in that aspect and don't have the coaching to overcome what we lack in talent.
