Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen now10 seconds ago Harden had to launch a 3 late in clock. It was his first shot of second half. Spurs swarming. He's passing. Rockets missing.
I was rooting for JB to pull a Rudy T but at this point he's proven to be just as bad as McHale without his hall of fame pedigree. What happened to his big talk of holding players accountable? Playing guys that play hard/ to win? Why not play K.J. McDaniels and Montrezl Harrell MEANINGFUL minutes?! Montrezl will play tougher than any big man we have. K.J. Will be an improvement over Brewer defensively without a doubt. JB needs to go asap.
This is true. This team just isn't built right. They need more bigs that can space the floor and open it up for Harden. They are running plays through the high post and big men as if those guys can hit those shots OR pass the ball. They can't. DMO is the only big that can and he barely plays. Clint and Dwight are fine, but Jones really does hurt the team. He doesn't space the floor, he doesn't play defense, and he makes bad decisions with the ball. Yes, I know he shoots well from three but teams STILL don't respect it so it's not spacing the floor at all.
No, it makes you a sensible one. I've been advocating the same thing. There is no logic in barely making the playoffs(assuming that even happens at this point) only to get swept by the Spurs or Warriors. Start the damn firesale, get something of value for Dwight, hang onto that draft pick, lose as many games as possible so it's of higher value, and start looking for a real coach.
Pathetic... Spurs go on a massive run & JB stands there with his hands in his pockets. Jones has all the talent in the world, but man he plays like his voice. I'd rather see Harrell out there for a few minutes of aggression, heart & hustle if Jones continues to play like a jelly filled marshmallow. Laws on is playing well enough to garner more minutes...but for some reason we stop playing 'inside out'. On a bright note, we might see some KJ tonight...
