ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 12/31/2015

He's not flawless, obviously. Needs to defend better. Needs to cut down on turnovers.

The board considers him something of an unmitigated disaster at this point. It's just too much.

 

I'm sorry that playing some of the worst defense in league history is going to irk some fans.

 

You surround Harden with shooters such as Brewer and Ariza, it's hard to have much faith that they'll hit an open 3.

This is the main reason why I hate that Thornton is the sub for Harden. Why in the world do you not use Thornton on a regular basis with Harden in the game instead of Brewer? That rotation makes absolutely 0 sense.

 

Can people stop quoting larsv8? He is a combination of jtr and delusional LOFs. The height of stupidity and arrogance.

 

And no one is guarding him and he can't take advantage. He may need to ride some pine until he finds his stroke.

When he comes in wtf do we do with him? He just runs around doing nothing. Post the dude up and let him go to work.

 

He is lacking explosiveness this year for sure but during his time with us he has been an elite finisher at the rim.

I believe he is carrying some kind of niggle because I can't find any other explanation for why he's so slow and unzippy this year.

It also doesn't help that no one else on this team can space the floor and shoot worth a damn, so as soon as Harden drives the other team just packs the paint and makes it impossible.

 

Rockets should come out with Bev, Thornton, Harden, D-Mo & Dwight to start the 2nd Half.

 

Harden is having a good game no criticism from me, but part of being a star and making the big bucks is taking the heat...especially when he's played bad for the majority of this season.

 

That's like stating that a high school student isn't flawless. He's great at Writing and History but rides the short bus to math and science classes.

His flaws are humongous.

Yeah I gotta agree. Blown layups potential dunks are true head scratchers. Definitely a difference between Harden's supporting cast of characters and Curry's...Warriors haven't missed too many easy shots tonight while making smart decision cutting to the paint

 

It's incredible we have ZERO 2-way players.

It's almost like they TRIED to do it.

If Harden's teammates could make more layups, diunks and open shots I'd imagine Harden could play even better with less pressure to score

 

may be conditioning isssues?

Too much drinking? Not making a concerted effor to be in tip top shape?

 

Perhaps Ariza is talking too much crap recently. He had too many bricks...

 

Then we don't even try to balance the lineups, just look at your starting lineup.

One dude is a reliable scorer, the rest are defenders.

 

I hope I am wrong, but it looks like the Warriors are going to win comfortably them making 3s is normal - us making them....well you saw the Atlanta game, we lost it in the 2nd half and BOOM we lose.

The way this team is easily faked out on back door cuts is amazing.

One fake and the Rockets defender goes flying the other way
