    Hahahahahahahah....

One of our players who has been balling this year...we don't use him.....

The guy has shot well...played defense with energy...and he can actually create and spot up....and he can get into the lane and find the big men....

Yes...Let's keep trotting out Corey Brewer instead...

The Rockets need to hire a smart coach. Morey does a good job finding talent, but the guy is dumb as hell if he thinks he's done a good job with the coaches.

why the F did morey sign him in the first place? did he think thornton would magically become a great defender all of a sudden with the rockets?

what thornton's provided on the court thus far exceeds what anyone would have expected, and more. the shooting, scoring -- plus actually better than expected passing and defense.

corey brewer has been a disaster, completely underperforming expectations. and yet he's rewarded with big minutes and subbed in to finish games. WTF

^^^ MC doesnt play bc the team is being stupid and needs Terry's leadership out there to keep them motivated and playing together. JB basically said this...and Brewer and MC arent interchangeable, different positions. Two separate issues..need Rockets to wake up, so Terry can give MC his role back and then Morey needs to find a replacement for Brewer. McDaniels isn't ready. Have to wait until Jan so Brew is trade eligible..well see what happens then

I don't buy JBs logic. McDaniels can't play any worse than Brewer. Brewer is beyond pathetic right now. Can't shoot, isn't a good defender and forgot how to finish. At least KJ can defend and is athletic so he can affect shots and grab boards. And there's no reason why Harden can't slide to the 3 while Marcus slides into the 2. We've run small ball plenty of times before and that's not even that small of a lineup. It's obvious Terry being out there for morale support is a bogus because we continue to lose the same exact ways and keep losing focus.
JB is sticking with those two because that's his guys.

I actually don't know why McDaniels is so highly regarded by Morey. He hasn't done anything that deserves his contract. As bad as Brewer is, I can totally understand why BJ is not playing KJ.

As to Thornton, there has to be something other than performance. Paging insiders...

I haven't heard too much about this, but here's something that I think Cyber covered.

Allegedly, KJ was signed for potential, and as we have learned over the years, an asset. I've also heard that he is an EXCELLENT practice player. You know, one of those guys who tears it up in practice but can't quite get it together when it's game time. Channel TWill if you may...

He doesn't do anything particularly well, but he can defend, he's young and is an athletic body you can put on the court.

What KILLED me was that his contract was used in a way that somewhat prevented us from getting my guy JSmoove back. And yes, I think Josh would drastically help us this year. It's too bad he believed what Doc promised him in ClipTown.

KJ's contract is "friendly." I'll leave you with that. You want some "friendly" numbers when things get complicated.

I'd be very surprised if KJ is in our long-term plans. He's barely played this year, and it's not happening anytime soon. There's no room for him.

Morey made a big mistake to put KJ over Josh Smith. SMH.

But, allegedly, Josh wanted a bigger role. We already had TJ and DMO. He thought LAC would give him a better opportunity. The money thing was always weird....

Now, we see how that worked out. Fights with Doc. A discombobulated locker room.

Disgruntled relationship with ______. Josh wants out, so it's been said.

WIth the minutes he's getting, I think he'd go almost anywhere. He's still making that Piston money.

I will say this: Josh is one of the most underrated talents in the game. Still, to this day.

If you give him space, he can break you off the dribble, or post you up with with a variety of moves.

His defense is also underrated, but he needs motivation to keep it going. He hasn't had the best coaches for that.

I wish we'd take him back with open arms. His chemistry with Dwight, with the whole guard/ key/oop pass to Dwight was amazing during the Dallas series.

And, how soon we forget, without Josh, we wouldn't have come back to beat the Clips in LA. He led the that rally.

We miss his versatility and his defense.

I miss Josh but there's no room for him on this team. Jones, Dwight, and Clint are our primary bigs right now. Motiejunas is working his way back. We also have Harrell who I believe will be a great rotation player in the league soon. Adding Josh to the roster would be rough unless we let go a few of our bigs.

The argument that Brewer and Thornton play different positions and that Terry is taking SG minutes is just a weak excuse.

Agree. I thought Josh was a shoe in to stay. His game blossomed last year and on a big stage. If TJones is traded, we would have room and a role again for Josh. I just don't believe the Clips would hand him over to us. Has he seen any more minutes with Blake out?

I don't want Josh Smith or T. Jones or even Motiejunas... I would like a good power forward for once.

I do think we miss Josh's passing and defense, but he could shoot you out of a game as often as he could get hot from three. And his free throw bricking made us vulnerable to the Hack-a-Whomever strategy.

Or David West, even Pau Gasol.

ZBo, Porzingis, whoever is good right now.

Yeah i agree. I don't know why he is distributing the minutes the way he is. We need a coach to come in this year not after the season is over.
