    Morey is so overrated. He's a solid GM, but he is overhyped cause of all the pub he gets for being on the frontline of analytics. Guy has made plenty of mistakes and needs to take some responsibility for the garbage on the floor.

    I've been on the Cassell/Ellie bandwagon since Harden's first season here.

    I think both are ready to be a head coach, but I would love to get Ellie as head coach and Cassell as top assistant.

    Thanks. That was a good read. I was thinking about something older, an interview or article a year or two ago.

    Anyway, in this piece, he clearly states that he is NOT passionate about the game of basketball. So I would be surprised if he ever reentered the basketball circle other than some light commitment stint such as a cameo appearance in a game commentating or some charity game.

    Firing Morey would be a BIG mistake...coming from a Morey critic. Morey just needs to be kept in line with a good coach. You can't have management meddling with coaching and the other way around. The two have to work together and come to compromises for the good of the team

    Too bad Morey does not have the reputation of an Ainge or Riley.

    They got superstars coming in pretty easy. He needed McHale to woo Howard.

    That is concerning. Well, he meddles too much, the other point.

    The problem is not Morey; it's the attitudes of our superstars. He has been dealt a bad deck of superstars if that makes any sense.
