    Glad he got more than 5 but it probably only happened because he is famous and they didn't want criticism. Most of these rapists get off easier.

    In this case, sounds like a vice sting. Same way they catch Peds looking to meet someone. Except this is videos vs live meetings.

    What you hear is that p*rn (being highly illegal) is not as available as mainstream p*rn. So you have to have a log in, or something. Plus, Vice is running a lot of stings by staging their own sites, or infiltrating real sites with member logins to get into chats about trading.

    I always just assumed the FBI (or someone) would be able to track people who go to sketchy sites. I don't believe that tor is 100% safe from the govt. They invented it, after all.

    The FBI Cyber Division handles internet child p*rn investigation operations. But I'm sure local Vice investigates brick-n-mortar stuff within their jurisdiction.

    You can't really surf child p*rn sites. They are highly illegal, so mainly backdoor internet type of stuff which you can't really stumble across, is my understanding.

    The TMZ post above says Marc Salling did have stuff on his computer. I assume it's difficult to charge someone if their IP address was the only proof. Seems you'd have to be linked to the "surfing" by a credit card account or something like that.

    I think it would have to be more stuff from the deep/dark web rather than actual "sites". Whatever you do don't watch any vids about the bad stuff from the dark web. It will **** you up.
