exactly...I've been saying this all night long. He set the team/players to fail not calling timeouts and making the right subs when the Hawks would get on a roll

 

Brewer will get traded. It's called a salary dump and we will throw a sweetener to get rid of him(Jones most likely or maybe also KJ) and we will be happy for it.
And we will get back either an expiring like Nene if we are lucky or a toxic dangerous contract like Morris for him.

Right now in my opinion the worst contracts in the league are: Pekovic, Chandler, Asik , Morris , BREWER.. Brew is in the top 5 worst.
AFTER that is Kanter.
Rose is not included because he expires next year and he sells jerseys.

 

Knowing us, we will beat GSW by 8 points but lose the next game to the Sixers

 

I said in the game thread it must've been JB who had money on the Hawks. Some of the substitutions were beyond mind boggling.

 

Like some have mentioned on the board, the switching on Defense HAS TO STOP. It puts our best rebounders (Howard, Capela) out at the top of the key guarding pgs who are just waiting to put them on a highlight reel. If they somehow miss the shot, then youve got Lawson, Beverley, or Ariza having to go up against their Center or PF because of that useless switch. If you ask me, THAT is where the offensive rebounding is killing us.

It all goes back to that switch. We got beat tonight late because of 2nd chance points, putbacks, layups, etc. and if everyone had just stayed with their man, Howard, D-Mo, Capela would be underneath securing those boards and we probably win the game.

 

Also, Hawks were fouled with 2:10 or so left. After the made FT, call timeout and substitute out Dwight for one play to avoid the Hack a Dwight. These are obvious decisions that are costing us games. Having Brewer in on defense to guard the post?? WTF.

 

I am sad to think Le$ gave up this season for JB to practice... PATHEITC

 

Maybe they are just good for a win or two against Spurs and OKC.

As a fan this season it is a comfort prize to say the least.

 

Jones's moves are too slowly. his low postups are not good either.

 

This team goes nowhere with the coach and the leaders...

 

I think Lawson is showing up. He's clearly the best passer on the team, and can the ball into the paint to Dwight or Clint better than anyone else, Harden included.

Perhaps a necessary change is to make the offense run through him more. If you're not, then you're basically wasting the only reason he's even on the court. It's not like he can play defense.

That and for all the Harden walk-up threes he hits, he makes twice as many WTF plays where he misses the shot, drives to the hoop and doesn't get a foul call, or simply dribbles the ball off his foot when the defender starts to reach in to poke it away. In most situations we are wholly unprepared to get back on defense, and an easy transition basket ensues.

When you look at our record, realize that this team has one leader, and that its results should fall squarely on that man's shoulders. Dwight, Trevor, Pat...no one else is sharing this burden. James Harden this year has played like an idiot. A mental midget. And that is why I call the basketball played by this team r****d Ball.

 

I missed most of the 2nd half except for the last few mins of the 4th. WTH happen? It's quite an amazing way to lose. Shot light while holding your opp to 43% and still manage to lose. Shocking.

Thornton should be getting Brewer's minutes.

 

THANK GOD I MISSED THIS GAME, was hanigng with my bud and would look at the score every 30 minutes or so. At first i saw it was 40-25, then check again and i tell him holy crap Rockets scored 71 points in half up big! Hes like wow by half?! Im like ya......."but they will lose" I was serious...

Thronton: frustrated himself

Lawson:the biggest disappointments for the moment

Patric Beverly: by letting JL go, because we want to nurture him, but look how it plays in return now. Hot-headed.

From WHOM do we see some enthusiasm, energy, rushing?

Our biggest problem, even seen i started to be a fan of Rox from 2003, is the point guard......

it had never been improved to an all-star level!!!

 

James Harden needs to remember he is a basketball player, not sex partner.

 

Why is Thorton a DNP? I didn't catch the game.
