Everything we did disappeared when they out-hustled the Rockets down the stretch, especially on the offensive glass. - Calvin

15/33 games shooting under 40% for 45.5% of our games

lol yes. That's what I routinely show with stats. Harden is better than Jordan, Bird, Kareem and Hakeem. Combined.

    Every time, no plan.

Yes, just let them switch and get the PG on our big. Every time.

Wilkins was right, we don't play smart basketball. Controlling the tempo, making the best use of each possession, logical switching on defense, guarding tight on their man - none of that happened when it mattered. That's why when we'd go up by 10 points or more, we'd lose that cushion very quickly because teams that play smart can exploit our weaknesses or adjust to us almost instantaneously.

Exactly. They passed the ball around well in the first half then we go one on one too much in the second half with hardly any plays run.

1-11 down the stretch in this game and 1-11 down the stretch vs New Orleans. Terrible down the stretch vs Orlando but Marcus Thornton can see the floor????!!! Our best shooter!

He averages 12 odd points a game. Would be the equivalent of Ariza dropping a huge game which is pretty bloody unlikely.

I was watching the LSU/Texas Tech game so I wasn't paying close attention. That was a terrible sub if true. I'm thinking some one switched when they weren't supposed to switch. Rockets do not like to fight through screens at all.

However, one possession doesn't make a game. Rockets had this game several times over and just wouldn't defend...

Bazemore is not unknown. He's putting up 13 ppg on good percentages and provides elite defense.

A modicum of truth, but really it's a helluva lot more than that.

But to his point... Korver missed alot of open looks... Which makes it more pathetic that they scored 121 without him..

More like because they cannot play defense.
