I will make another friendly wager as I did last year but this one is between rocketman and myself or anyone who would like to take me up on it....Mavs will finish with a better record and a higher seed than the rockets...and if they do not I will donate $20 to clutchfan....but if they do whoever takes me up on the bet must donate $20 to dallas-mavs.com

any coach that can turn Felton, zaza, a player in matthews that history has shown nobody has ever come back from that injury and done well, j.j. barea, charlie v., mcgee, and deron williams and turn them into what they were or close to what there were at their prime is unbelievable to me....I cannot think of a coach who has turned around so many players....think of terry, kidd, peja, chandler, ellis, carter, harris, marion, mike james, haywood, and so many others who were looked at as washed up or should retire or just scrubs and he turned them into names people knew or into players that played for so many more year (marion is perfect example....people thought he was done after Miami)

Carlisle is amazing. That Mavs team last year would been even better had Rondo not been traded for. Also, Carlises 04-05 pacers team might have won the title if not for the malice at the palace. Even after the suspensions he got them to 44 wins that year.
