Pathetic...dude just isn't meant to play pro football...not with a body made of glass like his. I hope we don't resign this guy; let another team try to keep him on the field and worry about his multiple injuries that will just increase as he gets older and more banged up. I know people want to hold on to hope on a really athletic big guy, but if Yao Ming has taught us anything is, it doesn't matter how freaking good you are (or in clowney's case how much good he does without showing up on the stat sheet) it doesn't matter worth a squirt of piss unless you can stay on the field. This is the first, high draft pick the Texans blew...they were creaming their pants so badly about this guys potential that they completely ignored his injury history...gotta move on.
LOL it's times like this that the really terrible Texans fans (or non-Texans fans that pretend to be Texans fans) show themselves.
I wanted the Texans to draft Clowney and he still may end up being the best player out of that draft. But as of right now he is considered to be an injury prone player and pointing that out isn't some litmus test of fandom.
Every time the kid gets nicked up at all we have a certain group that go nuts. We don't even know that he's going to miss time with his ankle/foot issue so it's a lot like talking about Watt's groin injury or broken hand. I understand that there's a segment of the Texans fanbase that is still upset about not drafting "Aaron Rodgers 2.0", but those people are so annoying when it comes to talking about Clowney. He's played damn well this year and his play is a big part of what turned the Texans' season around.
Honest question...if Clowney had broken his hand like JJ, would he have suited up for another game this season? We all know the answer.
Texans did the same thing when Schaub had the boot post-game that one time his season was over. They said everything looked and felt ok up until x-rays/MRIs. Given his history, I think its safe to say that any Texans fan should be a little worried.
Even if he did, it would be used as "evidence" by some pushing a narrative that he's a bust. Just the agenda crew being the agenda crew.
Wtf, reading these posts made it sound like he tore his ACL. Doesn't seem like it's going to be a big deal.
Im starting to think that his threshold for pain is very minimal. Hoping there is nothing significant with the injury...but this is crazy. Greg Oden like fortune with this dude...

I thought Clowney had done pretty well if you consider this to be his Rookie season. Not sure what people's expectations were.
Why are people overreacting on this injury he just had? It's a minor injury, no big deal. Clowney's 2015 season was just exactly what Mack had in his rookie year, including JJ Watt's. It's a positive.
