Whenever the Rockets lose, Harden is always blamed for the loss.

This is not all on Harden. This is Harden's team, and Morey have had plenty of time to put the right type of players around him. This team needed a shake up the first month of the season, and Morey have not done anything to date. Plus, it is evident that BJ can't coach. Harden played pick and roll with the Howard in the lost against Orlando on the last shot, and Howard failed the catch the pass, and Harden was blamed for not taking the shot. In the win against San Antonio, Harden made two big 3 point shots that help seal the win, and in last nights game, he gets blamed for taking a few threes trying to help win the game, and now its all his fault that the Rockets lost. Get the man some help, and/or somebody that can shoot the ball, and stop blaming him for everything. It's mainly because of Harden that the team has 16 wins. Howard is out of position a lot the last few games and does not play very hard much, and Marcus, Ty, and DMo needs to play more, and find their rhythm together. BJ is all over the place coaching! We better hope that Harden does not ask for a trade. You won't miss your water until the well runs dry. Harden is just 26 years old and still finding his way. Great leadership comes from a good coach and gm that players respect. We don't have that right now!

    He's different this year.

Slow, lacking explosiveness, stagnating the offense, returning to his defense of 2 years ago.

Is there some sort of injury they aren't disclosing?

This surely must be a troll thread, but I'll bite.

    - Being blamed for each loss comes with the territory of being the best player. Usually why after those 16 wins you alluded to - Harden gets most of the glory.

    - It's JB.

    - We most certainly can blame Harden for 4 minutes of dribbling at the top of the key and launching ill fated three point shot after contested three point shot.

    - Morey fired the head coach. The best % coach in Rockets history. That sounds like a whole lot of doing something.

    - There's probably atleast 427 threads in the GARM right now discussing the fact this team does not have the coaching required.

Harden has been in playoff mode this entire season, that's why he's doing poorly

Cause most of these people arent fans of the team.

Look at the allstar voting for some clarity.

Harden can cover some ground depending how he ends this season.

He can win back a little more trust if he tries on D and plays his heart out.

Howard and JB were the main culprits last night

The biggest thing I see if whenever the Rockets lose, the GARM is active and quiet when the win. You humans are funny.

For the past 3 years, James Harden made big progress every year.

But from this season, he start to regress significantly since he dated with Kardanshian and signed big Addidas contract in summer.

It can't be easy to be near the top in minutes and usage % over multiple seasons with a play style that requires a lot of contact. I'd imagine it's combination of fatigue and trying to save himself for the playoffs (as he usually is at the end of his rope by the time they come around).

I think the biggest sort of acquisition we can make is another guard who can create and shot in a 6th man type of role. This is assuming Lawson continues to consistently play subpar.

There's a good reason Harden gets blamed. He's a ball hog at the wrong time. Every time.

you got it backwards. People are fan of the TEAM not individual players.

Which is why he's been the most clutch player in the league for the last 3 seasons? Who exactly do you want shooting the ball instead of Harden?

Is Lebron a ball hog too since he's leading the league in FG attempts and has produced less assists than Harden?

Lebron does these things more efficient, he does not need to bring the ball up every possession, he goes back to defend and block shots

Harden runs the shot clock to couple of seconds, either shoot it or pass or turn it over

You could call Lebron a ballhog but he has already led a team, and won championships

    Been there, done that.

He has been doing a couple of questionable things this year that makes us frown - the ISO and dishing to a teammate with 2 seconds left on the clock is new and can not be classified as sharing the ball even if he gets an assist because of the prayer flung by his teammate.

His defense has gotten better the last few games but is still hit and miss.

Saying that, i believe its largely a team issue as defense tends to be a TEAM effort along with rebounding. It should baffle people why a team with DeAndre and Blake Griffin isn't rebounding well and that is clearly because its they don't work as a team on the glass.

The shot over the outstretched arm of Tim Duncan at the end of the Spurs game was in all actuality a bad shot (as are most of Steph Curry's threes). Its the nature of the NBA game - you make bad shots, you're king of the league. You miss and you are a failed leader.

This. Every year he improved some area of his game. This year not only did he not improve anywhere he digressed. The hunger is not there.

Well yeah. Are you shocked that people blame LBJ whenever the cavs lose or how Rose gets blamed when Chicago struggles?

The superstar of the team always gets blamed.
