seed number is irrelevant, if you are good enough, you will win the title

as a Rockets fan you should know that. We didn't win the title with the top seed in 94-95

Pelicans are 9-9 in the past 18 with their full team back and are getting better every game. I see them getting the 8th seed

This team is headed to where they were post-Yao/pre-H&H.

9th seed, 14th pick. One team had no superstars. The other is supposed to have two or at least one "superstars".

 

That probably actually happened to him in real life, lol.

 

honestly? that team was more fun to watch and easier to root for.

 

Again, please stop. This is not the defending champion Rockets of 1994-95 who had 2 of the greatest players of all-time(Dream and Clyde) and 2 of the most clutch performers in recent playoff history(Horry and Cassell) on their roster.

And BTW, that Rockets team for all its faults still managed 47 wins in a pretty tough Western Conference. The 4th seeded Sonics finished 57-25 that year for God's sake! And they probably would've won a few more had they not been forced to play their home games at Tacoma Dome all season while Key Arena was being renovated.

This Rockets squad is stuck at 16-16 nearly halfway through the season in what is frankly a pretty crappy West outside of the Warriors and Spurs. In fact, this may be the worst Western Conference I've seen in a very long time. If these guys were professionals who actually tried on defense and didn't take lousy opponents lightly, they'd easily be running away with a top 4 seed.

Cmon J.R were gonna make the playoffs we will luck out and get the 4th seed with how bad teams 4-8 have been playing. This lose sucks but overall were 9-5 this month with 2 games to go if we can atleast split the atl/gsw game then 10-6 with hard schedule in December is not bad.

I hate losing but being objective we've clearly been a top 6 team overall this month.

Plus with Blake griffin likely missing a month if not more and only being a game back I don't see us not having the 4th seed by mid January.

Dallas is slumping, Memphis is playing worse than us the clippers have a whole lot of problems and just lost Blake griffin for a while( more josh smith lol)

We're not catching gsw, SA, okc but 4th seed is ours and I think we're the clear favorites.

 

Yeah that team was awesome. They didn't win enough but they would blow teams out when they did. They were entertaining. This team is the least watchable team in rockets history.

Ahh, you're right. They may.

They're 16-16, nothing special though.

GS, SA, OKC and then it's wide open. Currently the 7th seed with no real threats(as of right now) behind them.

 

Dallas > Houston.

With no star players. How sad

 

This is a .500 team. The sooner the fans realize this the better it is to root for.

 

If you are a bad team, you're going to beat the Rockets. It's just how it is this season.
