They're finally getting the effort level to what it needs to be, but the coaching is now becoming a big problem.

it's a coaching issue, doesn't play Dmo enough, plays Brewer instead of Thornton who is clearly better, sits lawson when doing well, plays him when he's sucking. game vs orlando we had 2 time outs left bf in bounding the ball. same play today, wasted 4 sec off the clock then called time with 1 sec left. couldn't in bound the ball ( we had another time out left). It is a coaching issue.

really hard to defend JB not calling a timeout with possession of the ball and 6sec on the game clock. even the casual fan knows you advance the ball at halfcourt and try to get a good look.

Watched the New Orleans feed of the game tonight here in Baton Rouge. David Wesley(Ex-Rocket and Hornet) stated the same thing that Chuck, Shaq and Kenny said. The Rockets are playing better but they need a leader to help them execute. He said that right before halftime and I'll be damn if the game didn't come down to execution in the end. This team is so frustrating.

A GM who doesn't believe in coaching saying coaching doesn't matter that much but rather sights "coin flips" as t why we lose

I'm sick of not having a real coach. Why can't we hire a head coach with head coaching experience?

Didn't catch the 2nd half, but did JB not know the timeout situation?

None whatsoever. I didn't realize at the time that the Pelicans weren't over the limit and thought Harden drawing a foul could be a good move initially.

But there's a big difference between me not being aware and them not being aware. It just looked like the whole team was clueless on how to handle the situation.

yeah i'm just as surprised not one of our players thought to call the timeout either. in the backcourt with the ball and multiple defenders already downcourt. and harden is not the swiftest dribbler crossing halfcourt either. this team needs direction, identity, and leadership in a bad way.

Thibs would be great, but JB is here until he isn't. The 2 best things Rockets do have are 1) a great record against good teams and 2) a weaker West. Team plays better when motivated. We should make the playoffs and postseason equals more motivation.

I think JB is not the answer, but I like that he seems to have had enough, and looks to be making changes.

Step one - hold EVERYONE accountable.

Bickerstaff is a pouty child as a coach. He gets all huffy puffy and makes up phantom calls in order to suit his argument. Cant bring together the team, cant draw up a play to win games. Then he'll go to the 'disrespecting the game' card when his shortcomings become more and more evident.

    Fire Bickerstaff.
