The Rockets have a player who's currently 6th in PER, 3rd in value added, and 11th in RPM and their own fans are actively rooting against him (James Harden) to make the all-star game.

Because offense is only half the game.

The Allstar game will always be about fame and flash

Fans that value true fundamental basketball skills will not get enough amusement out of this.

Harden could pick up votes with a big Christmas game on national TV

All star is about individual talent, not team success.

LOL at Irving being 2nd place with like two games played.

Kobe ahead of everyone, Thompson ahead of Harden.

Harden deserves to start, but Thompson will get the nod because of all the Warrior bandwagon fans.

Harden has been disappointing this year but still top 5-10 player in the league.

This is a homer riddled post.

Harden may be the better player but Klay has had the better year.

Harden shouldn't be an all star maybe it might light a fire.

His team is better but he's had a pretty crappy year so far. It's no longer the splash brothers... it's more like Steph Curry and his sidekick Klay.

If you're not voting for a Rocket, why vote at all? If you don't like any of our players, why vote for others? They're the enemy and all deserve season ending injuries that have no long term effects (just in case the Rox pick them up later).

The thing called being objective. Let me vote for this twice just for emphasis.

I disagree, All-Star selections have pretty much always rewarded players on winning teams. And you're wrong, Harden doesn't deserve to start over Curry and Westbrook, sorry.

The All-Star voting is nothing more than an exercise in name recognition :(
