It's more than just pure numbers. It's effort and professionalism and leadership and poise and heart and winning tough games and holding onto leads and doing well enough to get your coach a raise instead of getting him fired and actually improving your game instead of regressing.
Yeah, that sounds like Harden's mentality, so long as he has a high point total we should ignore everything else right? His defense has been atrocious and his efficiency has been the worst since his rookie year....but hey 40 point games right?
I agree harden has not been his best this year but cmon th dude is top 6 in PER he's 2nd in ppg. He's avg 29/7/6 and his ts% is higher than lebrons so his effecincy is okay just not up to his standards. No reason any sg should be above Harden that's a joke He's still 3rd in the NBA in win shares.
How could anyone want any Rocket as an All-Star is beyond me. They don't deserve ****, especially Harden.
Klay's team is better, and he's the second best player on it. He definitely has a strong argument to start over Harden. 28-1 vs 15-15. Nuff said.
