ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Magic 12/23/2015

Great to see Lawson be Lawson, a little bit. Only 11/3, but one of best games this season. Hopefully he can continue and play even better.

Dwight was crap defensively despite being fed so well on offense. Disappointing.

 

D-Mo was horrible this game, He was getting torn up and Jones wasnt closing on the 3 point shooting big men

 

I seriously miss last year so much.

 

For me, it was hard to tell who was holding who on that last play.

According to Calvin Murphy, Harden was the one holding.

 

Why would Harden hold him when Harden is trying to get to the ball? That doesn't make sense

 

Bickerstaff's inexperience showed. We are we running a lob play to take the lead late in the game?

 

20 mins for TJ and Dmo combined (4-8 combined)... but we had 39 minutes for Ariza... 0-8 from the arc... 4-14 overall...

 

Pathetic defense effort is our main issue!!!!

We did not solve it at all.

 

Trying to flop for a foul call instead of running to the ball and catching a 3

 

trying to draw a foul rather than trying to make a play... naw harden never does that...

 

All Magic starters scored double-figures.. and had an additional teammate score 14 off the bench.

 

Honestly, the Rox are turning the page. They only lost by a few points. This is a game they would've been blown out by 20 points not long ago. They just need to keep at it. First off, never let Beverly and Ariza shoot a combined 6-23 from 3 point land would definitely help the Rockets win games. Period.

 

Right? That was so fun. This year has been fun for about 1 quarter.

 

yeah..when the Rox lay that many 3 point bricks it really shouldn't be that hard for any team to do stuff like having all majic starters hitting dobule figures. Rebound run and gun when we brick. Easy recipe as we know

 

Just a mediocre team. Bickerstaff completely changes the rotation every game, no way we will ever build continuity like that. His lack of any semblance of a rotation is a clear sign he has no idea wtf he's doing.

TJ/DMo benched 2nd half? The lineup with TJ at center was working well last game, why not try it when they're walking all over us in the 3rd?

Harden clearly on fire but doesn't take the last shot?

Only 52 more games of this ****.

Actually Ty was + 10 with 11 points tonight

 

Calvin is wrong here, 'Dipo's arm is always on the outside. Yes Harden is holding him but he can't even get his arms past his defender so he's trying to push the guy so he can get free.
