That's crazy but that's not even the craziest thing. Dude just accepted permanent residence in China and is the first NBA basketball star turned China basketball star to be offered a Chinese green card. Dude has a statue of him outside the arena, 3 rings for Beijing in the last 4 years and the key to the city. I mean damn the dude's Twitter handle is I AM PEACE STAR. Weird.
I think this is great! For a lot of reasons, I never thought much of Marbury as an NBA player. He had some issues. But it looks like he's really turned things around. Props to him for finding his place, in China. Wish him the best there. Who in their right mind would have predicted this?
Somehow I think if Steve Francis didn't have his issues, that this would have been him. He already had an in as Yao's pal. He just never kept up his health or improved his game.
what the hell? a marbury play? -i like the interviewer <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YRh7r3Il7_g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> this is insanely horrible
I made it through 7 minutes and then had to shut it off... I swear that's some of the worst mess I've ever seen. lol.
Steve smokes crack and makes rap videos in elementary school classrooms. He had more than just health issues.
Dude played 12 years in the nba and for the majority of those years he averaged over 20 points and 8 assists and 3 boards. LOL Then somebody comes along and labels him Starbury, and all the sudden he is a terrible player. 12 season, 20/8. By any standard the dude was a great player. Period.
