Couldn't have won this game tonight without Jones, created a lot of points when we needed them, clutch defensive plays.

If he keeps it up it might be possible that the Rockets start testing the market for Dmo instead of Jones.

So typical. Terrence has one good game every 10 games or so and all the _of's come crawling out of the woodwork and chirping like crickets that he's finally turned the corner. If I had a nickel for every time I read that on here over the last 3 years I'd be a millionaire.

Once again. Look who we were playing. Look who Terrence was matched up against. Now calm down and think rationally about who we gotta go through to win the West. Slowly, now. Hold your breath. Let it out slowly. And realize, nothing's changed here folks. Nothing's changed. We've finally peaked 1 game above .500 29 games into the season. The odds are very good that come January 15th we'll still be right at .500, maybe a game over or under, but roughly .500. And we're gonna have to make some substantial personnel changes to have a chance to win anything this season. Hopefully Terrence keeps it up for a stretch here and we can possibly sell somewhat high on him.

Too bad he can't do this all the time. He has one great game out of every 10 he plays

Come on dobro that's too much right brother. And you know as well as I know Holic doesn't like to be wrong, or like to be proven wrong. He's been wrong for quite some time now. I bet you once T. Jones does get traded, dude will be on here clamoring about how right he was and how he's been predicted this trade.

Well since we were playing scrubs why didn't Howard score 40 or Dmo score 30. Typical response by you, and very professional of you to call people out there names. Great job as usual bud.

Do you think another team is going to give us back a better player than jones in a trade? What team is going to do that?

It's his motor, he has all the tools..

If he had the consistent motor he had tonight he would be a very solid starter.

Yup, all I hear is how special Monty is and he cannot get enough rebounds and is a far lesser shotblocker than Jones.... and people moan and whine about Terrence Jones even with his 17 pt game

CFans at its finest just because someone is white (the lessest Hakeem) and 7ft tall, we should build around him, Harden and Capella, automatic allstar in the future.

   ;)

Everybody not named Harden and Howard are trade bait. You would know that if you we're a true Rockets fan. Shoots even Howard is trade bait at this moment. LOL

Depends on the package offered and how desperate a team may be.

Regardless it doesn't matter. The writing is on the wall, either D-MO or Jones is gone in February. We won't retain both in this inflated market. The better Jones plays, the more likely it is that a team would be willing to take a half season flyer on him

Isn't all of this obvious?

Disagree. Unless we're talking about acquiring an all-star PF, it doesn't make sense to trade DMo. He and Harden are the only two Rockets who can consistently create their own shot. I think he'd flourish coming off the bench and facing opposing 2nd units, but given our current roster, we need his defense in the starting lineup.

Dmo is not even an all star PF so why would any team with an stud PF would make that trade.

Trading DMO would be nuts. If TJones would play like this every night the Rockets would really be scary...but that's a big IF which has always been "The curious case of Terrance Jones"

The only question with Jones is can he do this in the playoffs

Thats about the only problem I have with him now.

It's a big IF for both players. Both of them have their good and bad moments. Let's keep it 100. Dmo didn't have a good game tonight either.
