In his defense, Right Wingers have always been pretty universal in not applying their Free Market fetish to governments because they aren't about the bottom line - they can supplement their revenue, for instance, with taxes.

Its pretty evident you're a kid with no grasp of history. Since you are so sure the Republican Party will cease to exist in 20 years, do you simply believe everyone will be Democrats? If no, do you really think the Republican party and Democrat party of today shared the same philosophy over the last couple hundred years? I'll simplify it for you. Its human nature to remain divided. Humans do not work as a colony or hive for its better good. Humans put their own self interests first. While you're busy cheering for your team and enjoying the demise of the other, know something will rise from its ashes, whether it will be for better or worse. And while you're busy waving your pom poms for your team, know it will too eventually turn into an abomination too. So instead of blindly being a cheerleader, learn to be a player and stand up for your own principals. Politicians have zero interest in you except for your vote to put them in power.
This country badly needs a brand new, 3rd, Progressive Conservative Party. It won't win now but would dominate in the next generations.
I wish the big telecoms did a better job in upgrading their infrastructure... but alas, not much competition in a cartel/mafia style agreement. ATT&T takes city X and Comcast takes city Y....
We need someone to collectively b**** slap everyone and tell us we are all going to have to take a hit in order to move forward. All this special interests and big money just ensures America is less better off long term. There aren't any magic bullets or policies where everyone gets a lollipop at the end of the day.... Alas... I have a better chance with Emma Watson than Americans collectively doing the smart thing.
How about both parties break into two smaller parties? Progressive Liberal Party (Sanders) Liberal Centrist Party (Clinton) Conservative Centrist Party (Bush) Libertarian Conservative Party (Paul) I'm sure there are much better names than the ones I have above, but you get the point. The problem with Rubio is that the GOP elites see him, and they think he is their Obama - "hey some ethnic younger dude who is relatively inoffensive....this is the way forward!" In reality, it couldn't be further from the truth. Obama is about a zillion times smarter than Rubio, with the pedigree to match and had a lot of very smart people in his organization, and was a pretty good speech-giver. He was also not dealing with a universe of crazies that make up the Republican party. Rubio meanwhile seems kind of lackadaisical; he's not a policy wonk, he's not a retail politician, he's not a great speaker; his organization is pretty lackluster from what I've read - well then what is he? Just a dude with a name ending in a vowel who is young and not horrible like Trump? Rubio is who the GOP elites want to win - but they're in denial about the state of their party and the types of messages that succeed in it. Of course, they let this happen in the first place. This is the party atmosphere that Karl Rove and Roger Ailes and etc created
