Well, Markief could hate Phoenix for trading Marcus away from him... and love Houston for trading Marcus to him in Phoenix. Sorry, just trying to get in on a little conspiracy theory/crazy hypothetical gaming.
if by barley you mean he played 25mpg over 52 games (starting 15), then yea...he's barley ever played in the NBA
Deserve was probably the wrong word but... He's a better fit with the starting unit, plays off ball better, he's just as good a passer as d-mo, more mobile to run pick and pop with Harden You can run the offense entirely through d-mo with the bench crew. You basically don't want to make Morris the first option on offense. Zach Lowe on Morris. http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-curious-case-of-markieff-morris/
If Lin has ever been allowed to play Harden's role, even he may not have harden's production, I am sure many of his teammates will benefited and young players like TJ may have developed into a star player already, instead of being a trading block now.
At least Morris was back in the suns rotation today It was the dumbest thing ever to bench him for four-games straight when you are trying to showcase him for a trade. The fact he is playing today tells me a trade is on the horizon. Hopefully to us.
That article terrifies me. Morris sounds like he's got all the downsides of Harden and none of the upside.
I thought he threw a tantrum and refused to play for the Suns over the summer. How was that situation remedied?
So it seems we got the wrong morris due to the suns taking the kieff first. Sigh, would be funny if we trade marcus for markieff... Just a thought
I just have one question... If we trade Jones to Phoenix for Markief, what will the Rockets do for an NBA caliber Power Forward behind DMo and Capela? I don't think Montrez is NBA ready yet. With DMo coming off of back surgery I would hate to go through the remainder of the season without an NBA caliber Power Forward on the team.
