If you can get Anderson for Brewer and filler (Jones or some late picks) then you do it. No questions.

Anderson would solve a lot of problems for this team. Career 38% 3 point shooter, has experience playing with Dwight and is actually a better rebounder than given credit for (certainly better than Jones and DMo).

Brewer is not a fit on this team other than the occasional fastbreak opportunity. He cannot shoot, gambles too much on defense, can't pass or make smart decisions with the ball. He is a career sub-30% 3 point shooter but he camps at the 3 point line and takes 3-4 a game.

The moment Thornton signed, he made Brewer very expendable. I don't know why this coaching staff or Morey is playing Brewer all these minutes, other than to showcase him off because its only hurting Brewer's already small value. Thornton is our 2nd leading scorer. He needs to play more.

I'm still pretty high on Harrell and KJ and would hate to lose either unless it is a part of a big deal. I think Harrell can be a real force off the bench and KJ has the potential to be a very good defender and would immediately take Brew's spot (not minutes) in the rotation.

No freaking way should the Rockets trade a rookie with enough potential to reach to the moon.

Whether it's bad or not, the contract is absolutely non-toxic. Nor non-tradeable. CB will bring back more than cap relief.

Of course Morris isn't playing well. He's pissed and unmotivated. Wanted out when they traded his brother. Had to wait until other teams could make trades.

His current level of production hopefully wouldn't continue here. But there's always your Ty Lawsons. Ya don't know whatcha gonna get.

like what? It's tradeable of course everything is tradeable. If you throw to the other team a good enough sweetener Pekovic can be traded too.

Jones and brewer for morris. That's almost laughable. We better be receiving other players. Cuz who you gonna have as a wing player ofg the bench now?.

Markief hates Phoenix for trading Marcus. That means Markief will love Houston, because Houston traded Marcus. Wait what?

McDaniels not ready for NBA. Dekker injured and not ready for NBA at all. Terry a wing? That leaves Thornton that isn't even getting minutes.

It actually couldn't be more reasonable. We get the best player in the deal.

I still don't see why the Rockets would have interest in Morris as opposed to someone that is good at basketball.

    What are you talking about....?

    Bev/Lawson/terry
    Harden/Thornton
    Ariza/Mcdaniels

    ...Is plenty of depth.

Moreover, that assumes there is no second deal, which I guarantee is being explored.

Easy answer. They were on a team together in pheonix and suppesendly didn't let them know they were gonna trade one and had the expectations they'd be playing together. They know houston was just a buisness deal that had no personal meaning.
