A NYK 2nd is worth something. Huertas , even if I really liked him in preseason, apparently sucks so far.

His numbers look fine: 45% FG 38% 3FG About 2-to-1 assist to TO ratio Him not getting much time probably has more to do with the Lakers giving time to Clarkson and Russell, and..........the Lakers trying to be really really bad again so they don't have to give that pick to Philly.

How about Lawson for Taj Gibson and Aaron Brooks. Gives us a power forward that can rebound and play defense against the top notch PFs in the West and a great shooter off the bench in Brooks (x4 lol). Bulls solve their problem with too many big men with too little time and get Lawson to play big minutes if Rose is hurt or resting, etc. Then trade Jones and Brewer for Morris or a good back up SF as soon as possible. I have only watched 4 Lakers games (and fell asleep during two of them, they were THAT exciting) but from what I have seen/heard his defence is so godawful that makes him unplayable. Taj Gibson has actual value. Lawson doesn't.

Get to kick the tires on Lawson. Suns dump Morris, take on Jones and a 2nd while eating Brewers contract Rockets get infusion of offensive talent with players that can shoot, while dumping all 3 rotation players that can't shoot consistently. Morey has inquired about him before. If history has taught us anything about DM, it's that he likes to chase players he's previously looked at. I like this deal a lot. Rockets or Suns might have to give Lakers more sweetener though. They like Lou Williams.. We could get Swaggy P for dirt cheap, however.
