Funny how some in the media picked Rockets and Clippers as having the deepest bench at the start of the season.

If the starting 5 was top 3.... your bench is Capella, Jones, Brewer, Bev, Terry, Thornton... based on the previous years performances, that's pretty deep... with KJ and rookies as wildcards...

LOLs, on the first page alone, we have 7 GMs who want to have a hand in coaching and choosing the system to run.

We've all become Morey, thinking it's our job to Coach as well as trade, draft and sign players.

IF we can bring in a Thibs or somebody along those lines... I'd give the balance of this year to see if they can get through to Harden - IF they felt it was a good possibility...

Hey why not! Maybe next we can have the team start a reality TV show where viewers get to SMS or tweet the starters with the highest % getting the starting position. Then live tweets during the game for rotations.

Although we kinda responded with what we thought to fix the team.

Title of the thread is "You're the GM." Apparently, many at cfnet would use GM power to make coaching decisions. Such delicious irony. Fantasy imitating reality.

Decide if Harden is a MJ, Kobe, Lebron etc to build team around. As a GM once I decide then make necessary changes. My thought is No he's not the above I fell hea the cancer so I trade him now while his value is very high.
    Thoughts?

If I was the GM we would of got Rubio instead of Lawson anybody who thinks Lawson is better than Rubio now is just insane. Lawson has brought jack squat to this team and I know Rubio would of at least been able to be a contributor.

I obviously agree... but if i bring in a new coach, I'd give him the option if he wanted the balance of the year if he wanted to try to get through to him...

That ship has sailed already. But if rumors heat up again for some reason I hope morey strikes and acquires Rubio.

Rubio is worth more now than he did last year because he has improved his shot. But he may be available for a poweforward. (Not jones).

    1) I would go down to the practice courts, line up all the players and slap them across their faces. Multiple times if necessary.

    Some combination of the following:

    [IMG][IMG]

Remind them of, and magnify their insecurities.

    2) Break these players and their egos down.

    3) Build them back up by practicing with a focus on defense...

    4) Profit!

    Thanks Rodman23 for the gifs

If your talking about d-mo I do it I know I'm going to killed for it but just my opinion. This team don't have good passers which leads to good ball movement. The only good passers we have is harden and Lawson and he don't see the floor. We don't swing the ball we don't have sharp crisp ball movement that's why smoove was valuable also. Nobody can create for themselves other than harden. We are in the same spot we where at the beginning of the season so if we could do it all over again and acquire Rubio even if it cost d-mo so be it. And I really like d-mo I just rather build around a Rubio/Harden duo other than a Harden/Dmo duo.

Would it cost a DMo or could a TJones pull of Rubio? DMo does help stretch floor .

In what world has Rubio improved his shot ...

    .342 FG% (5th worst PG not counting rookies -- 7th overall)
    .265 3G% (4th worst PG not counting rookies -- 5th overall)

And overall, covering the players first 7000 minutes played in their career, he is the worst shooting PG of all time. At this many minutes, Kidd and Rondo career numbers had significantly distanced themselves from Rubio at same minutes.
